Good news for internationally based customers!

I want to thank you so much for all the support you have shown during our holiday sale so far with our Limited Edition Holiday Sets! We have been loving all the great feedback and images of you and your birds with our gift sets. If you haven't gotten them already, know that one of the perks you have as Patrons is that you get to pick your selections rather than them being a mystery (see my last post about this).
One of the things I have gotten a lot of questions about though is the international shipping issue and how we are not offering it for these items. There are a few reasons why we decided not to offer international shipping on the gifts this year but, after talking it over with my team, we decided to open up International Shipping to Patrons Only on a few conditions...
1) You assume responsibility for the package(s) - we cannot replace or refund a package that gets lost/stolen/damaged in transit. These are the reasons we didn't want to offer it as we know there's a possibility of them happening, but if you have had no issues with international shipping during COVID and would like to assume the risk then we can ship you your products :)
2) To minimize possible damages (the mugs are fragile), each box is individually shipped. Internationally we calculated average shipping costs $25 per mug and $39 per tote (it's crazy, we know). If you would like to order multiple items, multiple shipping charges will need to be added.
3) Due to the custom nature of shipping (and that you get to custom choose your items), please do not order directly through our website - email Ashlyn at info@birdtricks.com and let her know what gift sets you would like and your selections - she will get you set up with a custom invoice for your order.
I don't normally like to sound so business-like on Patreon, but I did want to open up the possibility for Patrons to get international shipping on these items as a Patreon perk while also being transparent about the realities of shipping right now.
I'm so glad you guys love these so much that you pushed us to offer them to EVERYONE. Happy holidays!!

Yay finally they are all in :) Thanks so much, love the mugs and pins. Its interesting to see the tracking how the same pakets from the same origin and same destination take different routes.

I wish it was so simple. The customs destroy it for being food products, and our manufacturer doesn't want to go through the permitting needed to be able to ship it overseas. Apparently it's expensive and a real headache to do. Sounds like we'd mostly need to find major suppliers to carry it for us vs ship individually and our manufacturer just won't go through the process so sadly, we are confined to just the US for that. Definitely not our choice on that one.

Please do talk it over with your team and decide to open up International Shipping to Patrons only on your parrots´food line. that would be great!!!
