Thanks Jamie and Capri! My pionus will accept a kiss and make kissy noises if I make them, but he doesn't give them. I'm not sure I'd trust him to come at my face with his beak. It isn't a macaw beak, but it is long and sharp for a bird his size. I think I can translate this into teaching him not to nip fingers when he's getting a ride on someboy's hand. I'm not sure if he gets impatient, bored, or simply frustrated because his little wings were clipped by the breeder and he can't fly on his own. We'll both be so happy when his flight feathers grow in. Meanwhile we need to work on the finger nipping.

This is such a great training tool. I don't ask my Too to "kiss", it could be a blood bath. 😊 Although he is very cuddly and affectionate. Great work Capri. Oh, also Jaime. 💖

This is great my cockatiel loves to give kisses but sometimes she gets carried away like Blue and tries to pierce my lip. I’m definitely going to try the no lips 😗 for a while and I tend to go towards her as she comes towards me so that’s another thing for me to work on. Thanks Jamie and Capri. Oh and Blueberry. ❣️
