yay sunny! can't wait to see him actually fly now! so how permanent is this? like... will he eventually molt and replace them? or has he been plucking for too long and can't really re-grow his wing feathers? and what happens then?

That was so amazing to watch!! I was always so curious how imping was done, its a lot less complicated than it sounds! I have a sneaking suspicion, with all those cuddles and kisses, that Sunny isn't going to be going anywhere! It looks like a match made in heaven! I know how that feels, for sure!! ;-)

Yes they were donated from several other blue and gold macaw owners - mostly their free flight students I think... It's pretty awesome!
