I know how hard it is going to be to take him to the rescue but knowing he is such a great bird I know Ronie's will find him the best home! I love that Bean gets to pick his human!!

I can't imagine how much happier Bean is now after getting the desensitization training. He can enjoy his life without so much fear. Such a wonderful gift you gave him and his forever family, Jamie.

Gotta love how he cheats with that long stretch. He did the same thing on the indoor crate training. Based on what we've seen, I think more desensitizing with men and a bit more on the crate training with the plastic ones. They seem to be the more common one so need to get that down. It is scare dark inside. Maybe removing the stuff on the side to let more light in would help. Can put it back on later as step 3.

Awww Bean! If I was in the US i would definitely come and adopt Sir Bean. He's doing so well! He really does look ready for his forever home. I'll miss seeing his updates but so happy for him for how far he's come. He's one happy, healthy birdy now. Thanks Jamie for all the work you do and for helping Bean live his best life💛

Wow, Bean is doing so wonderful, I'm so happy for him. Now comes what I have always considered the hardest part of the whole process, finding/choosing the best home for him. Its why I never want to breed or have a rescue, I can't imagine the weight of responsibility put on you to get a great outcome. I wish you, Bean and whoever ends up being him new forever home the absolute best. 👏🎉👏🥳

Oh! I really thought he was gonna fly! But hey, that's really something! My conure was clipped when I got her at 5 months old. She started learning her wings by gliding down from her cage. Then one day she hopped to my hand while we were target training, out of nowhere... Her #1 all time favorite treat... Walnuts always! I would have to break pieces off, and she decided she wanted the big piece! Jumped over my treat hand and straight to the one holding the jackpot! Lol Well, we celebrated like it was new years! And if we were going to be training with walnuts she her feet had to leave the ground 😁 Now she's a very skilled flyer! 😁
