Thanks for answering my question, I will probably try to figure out the source of his behaviour with wearing out his beak on the steel objects... the part with using smaller, even budgie-sized toys and hiding his favorite treats I did try, but he is mostly so clueless, like staying close and staring right at the treat sticking out of the toy yet not engaging with it, I may try hiding and rehiding treats more often, hopefully he will get more curious seeing me fiddle with his toys... again thanks for the helpful answer ❤

Thank you for answering my question. I will cut the fruit. He has gone weeks without it in the past. I still noticed the better behave when he finally got some. Maybe he was on a sugar high. Hahaha
