No wonder Bean got adopted by a patron... Never thought I was an African Grey person, but one that's cuddly might be a different story lol.🤩 Cheeky my Goffin cockatoo does that head scratch thing too. She did it even more when I first got her and she didn't know how to step up. She still does it now from time to time. As a physical touch person (with animals at least) I NEED cuddly birds lol. 🥺🥰

I wish Chauko would be that receptive to scratches!!! he likes touch but he needs to feel really stable and comfy to let me touch him so he doesn’t get off balance.

Our heat index has been around 107 degrees lately. I would love that and could see myself sitting outside with him! He’ll make an amazing bird friend to someone very lucky. I was wondering if the vet thinks he’s suffered any damage from the diet he was on before yours? I love how shy but ready to please he is. Such a good bird! ❤️😍

He just seems so sweet and shy! It’s so hard picturing all the bad behaviors he supposedly had prior to coming to you! Seeing how nervous he is, do you think the aggressive behavior was more fear response than actual aggression? Just watching him trying to navigate over the tree for the birdie bread, u just want to scoop him up! And his constant asking for pets? He’s too much!! 💜💜💜
