Jamie goes to Sunnyside (ep. 3)
🕑 Added 2020-07-12 17:00:00 +0000 UTCIt's incredibly important for birds that come from a bad environment, have feather destructive behaviors and have previously been on an unhealthy diet get LOTS of opportunities to bathe. I have added aloe to Sunny's misting bath bottle for extra hydration to his skin and feathers.
How do you guys like seeing these "behind the scenes" episodes? This is new for me to offer so wondering how you guys see it. Obviously in the main episodes you see Sunny taking a bath but seeing how we got there - is that helpful? Where it actually started? Curious for your feedback as usual!

I follow the dilution instructions on the bottle usually, and once I get used to that I can then eyeball it after a lot of use.

Very helpful! Thank you for sharing!! What is the Aloe you use? I have a grey who is feather destructive her previous owners never offered a bath (unbelievable I know... 16 YEARS! poor baby!) and we are making strides but a ways to go yet!

I love 💖 "behind the scenes" with this beautiful guy. Plus I am working with Fred to get him to like showers & bathing. Right now he tolerates it, but he's not happy about it. So we're going slow for now. BTW, we don't even get down to 65 degree at night. We reached 105 today too. 😢 Stay healthy and safe. 😃
