Oh, Flock! feat. Blueberry!
🕑 Added 2020-06-04 17:00:02 +0000 UTCI was trying to figure out what to work with Blueberry on... and thought, maybe I will teach him to roll over or flip upside down on my finger or... can I even grab him to attempt any of these things? In this first episode you literally get to see and hear me think aloud and then pick a training path from there...
I have to say, I am really proud of the progress I made in this single session! What did you think?

I will begin training this with my two budgies. At the moment they will perch on me, fly to me and learn tricks on a t-stand but won’t let me touch them (I’ve been too nervous to even try it). I can’t wait for the day I can give them little scratchies on the head. They move so quick in training because they are insanely keen to get the millet. Even the action of pressing the clicker is too slow! Our ‘head nod’ trick and “tweet!” trick have accidentally merged together and I’m too slow to separate them.

Awesome job Blueberry. It's amazing how quickly they learn. Too cute watching him try to get an extra treat by those sweet kisses he keep trying to give. Impressed as always Jamie by how you communicate with them so easily. I think you'll have him rolling over in no time at all.

OMG! I copied your roll-over training for the big birds with Walter the "budge" when I could have done it this way ?!?! Girl! The struggle is SO real! I resonated with every moment here! Budgies might be cheap to buy, just make sure you are aware of vaccum cleaner prices so just go ahead and add that right in! 🤣🤣🐦 And I would say they are even MESSIER than the big guys, too! The millet shells, the seed husks that blow around the room with any sudden movement and not to mention the distracto factor! Too cute!

He is such an adorable little guy. I love how he kept wanting to just kiss you for a treat. My green cheek does the same always tries kissing and spinning rather then try something new!! I am going to try this!!

Blueberry's a loud eater! lol!! OMG she/he is TOO CUTE!!!! This is SUPER helpful, our tiel that I work with the most is that fast, and after wave and spin I was at a loss for what to do next, because he's such a little (fun) spaz, just like Blueberry!
