Hi Jamie, on some of these older foundational failures videos have you thought of putting the topic in the title? I think that would be really helpful for finding certain things that people are having challenges with. By the way thank you again for posting all of them.

This Question is sorta related to not having your birds be too social⦠Can you do a video discussing peoples plans for their birds once they passed away? Do birds who have not been very socialized easily adjust to the new home?

Great topic! My CAG doesn't step up to anyone, so I don't have that issue. However, I have tried to socialize him by bringing him to work and other social settings. I've encouraged others to give him treats to re-enforce that different people interacting with him is ok. I think that is still probably ok (feel free to correct me!) But if I ever do succeed at gaining his trust to step up, I will handle his interactions with people differently then I would have before this video.

I love this! This same principle was something I found out with my cockatiel. He was phobic of children and now he is willing to happily sit in anyone's hand. As long as I train a behavior so he understands it and reward with millet, nothing's ever "too scary".
