Twitch :) You have the video posted automatically after the stream is done and you can see the Chat after.

I miss the IG lives all the time and you can’t see the questions in the replay. Plus there is always a lag on IG for me unfortunately-

I love Instagram but agree with someone else that watching the replays you don’t get to read the comments/questions and I find them hard to see anyway. For those who don’t have Instagram, maybe repost the whole videos on Patreon afterward?

Here in my house we're set up with Zoom since my better half uses it for his meetings with Valley Adult Day Services which is an elder day care center. He is the Board Chair. I like the way it works too.

My only issue with IG is that I don’t get notifications when you’re live so I miss it. I could just be better about remembering when the lives are supposed to be.

I don't use Instagram and don't have the space on my phone to download it, but I like the idea of a discord as you could have channels where the patrons could chat, get to know each other and become a community :) You could also give custom roles to everyone according to their Patreon tier, or anything else you like.

I’m a little biased though because I just converted the agency I work for (750 employees) over to Zoom and have been hosting/coordinating all the meetings while people learn so I have Zoom on the brain lol....

I’m starting to get the hang of Instagram, but omg Zoom would be AWESOME!!! It has all the extra features too, like hand raise, reactions... ability to send private message in-chat to host...

I'm not sure exactly how or what it is however the chloesactuary uses something called slack. If you wanted to look into it. I'm OK with Instagram though, not sure if it matters allthat much but is very nice of you to take your patrons preferences into consideration. Just reminds us how wonderful you are 😉

YouTube has 3 different options for live streaming- Public, Private and Unlisted. YouTube’s Private streaming allows sharing the event video to 50 different people at once (provided that they have active Google plus accounts). Private videos will not appear in any of the search results or the video recommendations. The YouTube live stream will be accessible to the invitees alone which is a much-needed feature for private events.

I don't have an issue with Instagram when watching live but when watching old / missed episodes I immediately wished it had the chat replay like YouTube has. Recordings would be much better when you can see the questions that were asked.

Other livestream apps you can require a password but I can only recall Twitch. I don’t think YouTube allows to approve subscribers so you can’t make patreon exclusive. Ha, Zoom would be interesting but how many will show their faces or even talk? 🤣
