Wondering what the size of his cage is as we are thinking of ordering a customcage for our macaw. Shipping costs are pretty high for international delivery (to Australia) so we're trying to get the right size without taking over too much of the garden.

Mostly its been because he's not food motivated much since he's obsessed with his normal food. Using treats has been hard, and he won't move much for the target if he's nervous so I feel like in his case a lot of my focus has been on desensitization so when he goes into a new home, he isn't terrified of the world again. Plus, it would be easy for a new owner to use target training to go beyond where I get him without it. But I will show using it more in future videos.

I am currently working on training and desensitizing an untamed Senegal I rescued from a bad breeding situation. Like Bean, he is very food motivated. I noticed that you haven't really been doing (or at least showing) target training or anything with him yet. Is this due to wanting to work on desensitization first? Is it best, with a phobic/scared bird to desensitize them prior to starting other training techniques? Thank you!
