You can do a treat test we show in family friendly parrot formula one or try offering mixed treats for 24 hours and see what they like!

It's taking so long to help the birds learn to like the nuts and seeds for rewards. Just now starting to nibble on them after 5 months when they are in a cookie. Patience is long sometimes.

i’ve been using this technique for a year now and it literally changes the whole game. I’ve been using it mostly to amplify calm behaviors with Chauko (the grey featherd dude in my profile pic, aka the handsome one.) and it sped up our rehab process for sure.

Holy Moly! 😱 Next level tonight! I have always used 2 types of treats for Piper my GCC for her flight training. A variation of safflowers, millet, sunflowers, cashews, pecans, and pine nuts, but only 2 of them in a given session. Her flights have always lacked confidence and strength. Tonight I took the time to break up tiny pieces of all the nuts and added the millet and seed to the mix. She turned into a little bullet!!! She tripled her distance and her recall time was super fast! Thanks for this video guys, so awesome!
