RIP Dan Womach
🕑 Added 2019-11-18 15:21:46 +0000 UTCI was going to film a video explaining, but I can't bring myself to do it. So this is the next best I could offer.
We are going to be temporarily stopping our Bird Tricks Tuesday video series, and replacing it with our Vet Series. You were receiving 1 BTT episode per month, you will be receiving 2 episodes of the vet series per month through the end of February. Hopefully by then we will be ready to re-visit filming BTT episodes again.
Dave's dad passed away peacefully in his sleep last night. Dave flew out yesterday morning from tour to go say his goodbyes as his dad suddenly went down hill very quickly and unexpectedly. He had been suffering with dementia for 6 years, and was going to be 67 years old on Thanksgiving this year.
Thank you all for your understanding lately of missing schedule a bit. I hope you understand if I'm less responsive to messages and comments in the next month or so.
The photo above was taken when we had less than two days at home, and Dan drove all the way from Spokane (1.5 hours away) to come see us for literally 20 minutes before he had to leave and go home again. It meant so much and is one of my favorite memories of him and him showing how much he loved and cared for us and wanted to see us when he could.
Hug those you cherish a little tighter today.
