To My Hydrettes - How Rough is Too Rough?
🕑 Added 2024-11-22 14:39:29 +0000 UTCTo My Hydrettes,
In my continuous quest to learn more about what you love to listen to, I posed the above question to you last week. Thank you to all who participated and submitted questions/comments. If you'd like to contribute in the comments as well I'd be thrilled to read them.
I recorded to you, for the first time ever, in a public place on a different mic. Please enjoy/forgive the occasional city ambience.
Please feel free to use this same anonymous form to submit your questions for next week's AMA.
The theme for next week's AMA will be: "Favorite Quote in an Audio"
I hope you all have a lovely Friday :)
Yours,
--Barry

Oh jeeze. The accent. π« Walking into work and I almost dropped to my knees. I never realized that kind of accent had that affect on me. π₯΅ whoa. Can you tell how many times that one portion of this audio has been replayed? π€¦πΌββοΈ

Iβve been loving catching up on your AMAβs and this one was very insightful. I just have to say thank you for kindly reiterating to us that we donβt have to feel negatively about ourselves for liking what we like. Coming from a shy quiet girl, people often make comments like βoh itβs the quiet onesβ and in turn makes me second guess or feel odd for enjoying some of the rougher stuff. I also agree that I donβt go around having casual conversation with people about this stuff (again, would shock people to even hear it coming out of my mouth) so I really appreciate this safe space that youβve allowed us to gain insight, feel heard, and most importantly feel safe exploring. And definitely enjoyed the exhibitionist feel of you recording in a hotel lobby. But in all seriousness, you could use any mic in any location and it will all sound divine.
