Ploppy Says Hello! - TG Caption
🕑 Added 2023-12-17 19:22:30 +0000 UTCPloppy waited. That’s pretty much all Ploppy did. Life as a slime was good, but not much happened and Ploppy was bored. Slimes shouldn’t get bored. All the other slimes said so. Ploppy didn't care though. Ploppy was its own kind of slime. Still, bored or not, Ploppy waited like a good slime.
Eww! I hate this place, Penelope whined. The swamp is wet and disgusting and that's before you get to all the horrible little slimy monsters! I can't believe somebody actually wants one of these things as a pet. Still, a job's a job and the area can’t be too dangerous with all the random soldier patrols...Right?
Ploppy watched the Big approach, talking to itself and generally making too much noise. Ploppy had seen quite a few Bigs over its short lifespan, but this one was different. Usually the Bigs were even bigger, had shiny metal shells, and were much, much quieter. This Big was none of those things. It was shorter, a little rounder, and a whole lot jiggly-er. Ploppy approved, giving itself a little shake just for fun. Jiggly was best! Maybe Ploppy could make friends? Time to say hello!
Seriously, how low have I fallen that I have to take this kind of crap job? Some adventurer I am. At least the pay is decent…
[Drip, Drip]
What the-? Oh gross! Something dripped in my hair! Is this…slime? Where are you, you creepy littl- glrg!! Cough, Cough No! I got it in my mouth! So disgusting!
Hmm Ploppy was confused. Did Bigs not know how to greet properly? It didn’t even fling any hello slime back. How rude! But Ploppy would not be deterred. Forming an even bigger, friendlier welcome, Ploppy said hello to the weirdly shaped Big again, right in the face. [Schlop] Yes! Ploppy had the best aim!
Don't open mouth. Want to yell. Don't scream at the wretched little slime ball in the trees. Want to yell. Carefully, calmly scrape slimy, gooey, mushy… almost... silky… Huh, feels kind of like a mud mask. It's almost… nice? Like a messy, oily massage on my face. Mmm...
Ploppy was still confused. The Big still didn't say hello. It was being quieter now though and seemed almost…happy? Who could tell with Bigs, certainly not Ploppy. Wait! Maybe it couldn't say hello. Maybe it didn't know how? Aww, that was so sad! Would the jiggly Big like a hug? Yes! Ploppy was an excellent hugger! Hey big, would you like a hug?! Here comes Ploppy!!!
Mmm so warm... So nice to rub it innn- [PLOP!] Gah! What! Oh HEY, more slime!
Ploppy was yet again confused. The Big grabbed it and rubbed them together while making weird 'mmm' and 'ooo' sounds. So many mouth noises! As the big squeezed and massaged, Ploppy found that it was actually being rubbed into the slightly offputtingly colored pinkish skin. Ploppy wouldn’t tell the big that their pink skin was a weird color, but maybe Ploppy could help? Ploppy began actively pushing itself into the Big's skin, changing it to a far more pleasant, slime appropriate greeny-blue.
Penelope continued coating her skin with the wonderful slime, but her mind wasn’t really focused on it anymore. She couldn't focus on anything beyond the sheer unbridled pleasure suffusing every slime covered surface. She didn’t need to make the effort anyway. Her slimy new friend was doing an excellent job of expanding on its own now. As it burrowed through the layers of her skin and deeper into the fat and muscle below, the slime began dissolving and replacing all it found. Nerves flared with an ecstasy that locked into place as they converted. Penelope was losing herself to it and the feeling was spreading.
Ploppy continued it’s good work. Bigs were so interesting! There were so many weird parts and different bits under the surface, whereas Poppy was all slime through and through. But, as it explored, things changed. The weird parts didn't go away, but they became more like Ploppy. In fact, Ploppy found it had some control and tried pulling on a muscle to make it twitch. It worked! Even better, Ploppy felt it. As a slime, Ploppy could sense both on it’s surface and inside it’s body, but nothing like this. The new sensations were irresistible. So why resist? The Big was having lots of fun too, judging by the increased mouth noises. Ploppy spread further, gliding down the Big's body. Some parts were unpleasantly hard, but some were almost like Ploppy. It found two almost-Plopys on the Big's chest. This made Poppy immensely happy and the big too apparently. It ‘ooo’ed and ‘aaa’ed and played with the jiggly parts all while Ploppy continued to explore.
As another part of Ploppy finally made it's way through the hard shell at the top of the Big’s head, it experienced more strangeness. Thoughts, concepts, ideas it never held before filtered in, enticing Ploppy to keep going, to look deeper. The Big, no the adventurer wasn’t an ‘it’ at all. It was a she. How odd. What made it a she? Ploppy didn’t know, so it kept searching down below. Ploppy found all kinds of weirdness between the Big's walking sticks. Legs, Ploppy thought, borrowing more and more of Penelope's mind. Those are called legs. Ploppy found a convenient entrance surrounded by nerves just waiting to be discovered. It searched inside, converting along the way and the Big, the adventurer Penelope, the woman went very still. Something was building. Ploppy could feel it even if it didn’t understand. They were merging, combining. Through Ploppy's own bumbling exploration and the woman’s overpowering need for more, it was pulled entirely inside, subsumed. They were so close. Slime converted nerves flared and sparked. Their bodies jiggled and shook. The slime known as Ploppy and the adventurer Penelope hit a wall holding them apart. It pushed them back from each other, and from the maddening release they each craved, but neither would relent, and the wall shattered. The world went dark.
Penelope opened her eyes. No, Ploppy opened her eyes. Wait, that’s not right either. Peneloppy? A cute, scrunched expression appeared on the part-slimegirl's face. Maybe she would stick with Ploppy. It was a good name. Oh! Was Ploppy a she now? Yay! For some reason, she really liked that idea. Then, as she stood there smiling, one of the metal Bi-err, soldiers came into view and stopped, staring slack-jawed at her. It made Ploppy feel funny, but not in a bad way. She found she liked it quite a bit. Oh! She should be friendly and say hello!
Hello! We are Ploppy! Would you like a hug?

I have seen stories along these lines before, but never in such a lighthearted way. Just love the outcome.
