Need YOU to populate Mothership
🕑 Added 2021-08-10 19:14:48 +0000 UTCA week from Friday we start a new game of the RPG Mothership. Think Alien, Event Horizon, or Dead Space.
Our four crew members are on a ship with 10 others. The ten break down to: one is an Android (think Bishop, not C3PO), four are marines, and the rest are blue-collar teamsters that keep the ship going. The teamsters can range from the pilot, navigator, cook, janitor, cryo specialist, and so on.
Pick a few and give me names and 1-2 sentences for us to work with.
You did a great job creating characters for Fear Itself and some of them are already favorites of the players and viewers.

Teamster Mitchell Mac Miggins is a programmer at heart and has a closer relationship to most androids than to any human. Fast spoken, messy hair, a haunted look on his face and a twitching leg jumping up and down gives him a constant aura of nervousness.
They only do once in my experience. That dude was mean.

Oh - we have our Android now and I love them!
Android: Model T108 (Tim). Short cut hair, pale 'skin' and bleeds blue! Programmed to have sarcastic remarks when tending to technology.
Given the carnie I'm mentally basing them on, it could be very mumbly Maryland eastern shore too. Honestly I've never heard anything like it, and I doubt I ever will again, so Cajun was my best guess.

Teamster Blenn Lathelby is so wiry and hairless they looks like a skeleton, and their thick Cajun accent makes them more than a little hard to understand through the intercom/radio. They can fix most things on the ship, but is far from a patient person.

Marine Nedjalko 'Jimmy' Korakov, speaking with Russian Accent, no Hair, (Cyberam if fits in the campaign) , likes smoking cigars and making rough jokes.

Teamster-Harry "mouse" whitecliff, pilot. Dependable but soft spoken his gentle persona belies a quick wit and quicker reflexes

Damn. Another set of awesome characters!
Marine- Alabastor jones aka spaz. Rough exterior and quiet. Deadly in close combat but loves carrying around old loretta( vintage double barrel shotgun). Has a shady smile and a gritty beard and man he's gotta stop using dip. Thats disgusting.
Teamster- josh wilkinson- engineering specialist. This was his retirement mission. 35 years fixing engines was enough. He wants to settle down on an island with no engines in sight. Likes to talk to himself and tends to always have outrageous stories to tell.

Teamster- Sally Reid. Just one of the guys, a no nonsense electrical specialist. Has bad scaring on her left arm from an incident as a child if you bring it up she shuts down.
Marine- Terrance "Slick" Styles. He is joined the marines to get out of a debt his mouth wrote. Can run his mouth and has a way of always finding himself in over his head.
