A new build is up for you to try; this one featuring keyboard shortcuts, Smartphone notifications, work notifications, Arane's house with a brand new background.
Here are the full notes:
NOTICEABLE CHANGES
+Added a new smartphone notifications system.
+Added a Notifications Drawer component to display the notifications on the Smartphone.
+Added the Notifications Drawer to the smartphone and the ability to toggle it by clicking on the screen top bar.
+The HUD smartphone button now displays the notification count from the new system.
+Added a new HUD to display any smartphone notifications instantly without accessing the phone.
+Notifications can target a specific app and when accessing the app it will clear all the notifications for that app.
+Added the ability to open the smartphone UI in a specific app.
+If the player has a job, they will now receive a phone notification 1 hour before their time to work.
+Added notifications for the WhosUp app received messages.
+Fixed a bug that was breaking some scenes or actions like Fishing. (Thanks to Jeepo for reporting this!)
+Fixed an issue on the WhosUp app where the auto scroll to the last message wasn't working on the Edge browser.
+Improved the Character component with a better transition animation system.
+Added a new Living Room BG for a generic house.
+Added a new generic house for Arane and Akira.
+Added Arane's house location to Town's Street 2.
+Added the ability to setup and assign houses to characters.
+Assigned Arane's house.
+Added the ability to configure schedules for every character.
+Arane now has a schedule to be at home at certain times.
+Added a new input system to handle keyboard shortcuts for different input events in the game.
+Added keyboard shortcuts to open the Inventory and the smartphone.
+Smartphone can be closed with Escape key.
+All windows are now closable with Escape key.
+Added shortcut to advance dialogues with the Enter or Space key.
+Improved the HUD messages for the player stats.
+Added Luck stat to player. (still in progress)
+Added Intelligence stat to player. (still in progress)
+Improved the Intro stat choices with a better dialogue line and actual stat increases.
INTERNAL
+Updated the SceneManager to load characters on a scene based on their schedule.
+Added a navigation menu to the admin.
+Added a brand new tool to the Admin to be able to test the Characters generator.
+Admin Characters Manager allows to change a character's expressions, clothing and hairstyles for quick testing.
+Added the ability to change the hair color in the Admin tool.
+Added a tool to test character generation and facial expressions in the admin.
+Improved the CharacterManager to allow generation of specific characters or specific character types.
+Bunch of other improvements to the character generator system.
+Minor fix in Mooni's character configuration.
