I'm recreating the Druun in Blender
🕑 Added 2021-12-14 11:03:26 +0000 UTCGood 14th December!
I'm right now at the dormitory building near the university, preparing for the next video. As my Houdini video was very successful and I showed what an absolute beginner I am in Houdini, this time I'd like to turn the table around and recreate Houdini simulations/procedural stuff in Blender.
This purple thing is the Druun, main evil force from Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon.
It was created with Houdini using fluidsim, smokesim and procedural generation. And that's what we are gonna remake in Blender. I plan on making shorter format content on YouTube, and on Patreon you'll get the full tutorial(s) as always.
The second picture is my first test. I think it starts to come together slowly.

Can we get Blender File or Full tutorial for that on patreon?)

Yes, it's out, it's the Hollywood VFX video, it's more of an overview how to approach it than a full step by step tutorial
Matthew
when is this expected to come out, because there is already a tutorial on YouTube, thanks.
