Also lets be honest, most western collabs are just for the hype and name, not for a lot of creative reasons. And collabing between groups won't do that much since either they're already crossover with the fandoms OR the fandoms hate each other.

there are a lot of collabs in kpop, but usually just solo artists or a member of a group with a solo artist. I don't think there's much need for collabing, since kpop is mainly groups so there are tons of vocal colors and styles groups play with anyways. Like Felix from skz collabed with Nayeon from twice, jeno from nct collabed with donghae from super junior, bambam from got7 and seulgi from red velvet, etc. It's also probably hard to do scheduling together. I prefer not doing collabs since some members barely get lines anyways and it'll just shorten them even more.
