🕑 Added 2025-07-01 19:29:17 +0000 UTCHello everyone and happy new month! 😍
Starting July with a new step-by-step tutorial for you 💌 This one is a guide with tips on how to draw hair roots! I cover how to build and layer the roots of the hair and also how to create a soft transition between the skin and the hairline :) This will help if you feel like your character’s hair has a “glued-on” look, and you want to make it blend better 💗
To access the step-by-step, just scroll down to the bottom of this post and click on the attachment! It’s a PDF so you can view it in high-quality on any device 🥰 I hope it’s helpful for you! 💕
And if you want a full guide on how to draw hair in general, check out this tutorial ✏️✨ Or just search “hair” in the tutorial/step-by-step collection for more guides :)
Speaking of tutorials, yesterday I posted a new tutorial about how to create backgrounds behind your characters! It’s a detailed walk-through covering multiple techniques that will make the process easier for you 🥰
Be sure to check it out if you haven’t yet! ✏️✨
In other news, I’m very excited to be resuming my regular schedule for Patreon content this month 🥰 June was a free month of content for you all to show how grateful I am for all of your support, especially while I was recovering from my wrist injury 💗 Thank you guys so much for being here, it truly does means the world :)
Let’s have a fun month together!! 💘
Love,
