life update
🕑 Added 2025-07-20 22:00:03 +0000 UTCMy aunt took her own life yesterday. She had been very depressed for the last year (after my grandpa died)
She had asked to see my art recently, but I told her I wasn't ready yet.
I was embarrassed to show her my drawings because I thought she wouldn't understand.
I should have opened up more and showed her my stuff. Now all I have is just regrets.
It's getting harder and harder for me to stay positive when it feels like only bad things ever happen.
I love you guys and I appreciate the support. I'll try my best to not recluse myself away again. Because I can tell that part of me deep inside wants to do it again.
But the rest of me was really enjoying drawing right now. and I had been more excited than ever for some of the stuff I had planned.
Tell your loved ones you love them for me, and try to be there for them more if you think they might need it.
I dont think this is the place to do this, but I don't know where else to do it---
I'm sad we wont get to watch tennis matches together anymore. I'm sad we can't watch new scary movies together. I'm sorry I wasn't in a better place to help you out more.

Damn, thatโs heavy, Iโm so sorry it happened like that, but donโt be too hard on yourself, you did the best you could with the information you had. Take your time to process all this, try to not be alone through this. I hope that whatever shape this grief takes in your life, that you can shape it into something your aunt would be proud of
