BlimpTober 2025 is Underway
🕑 Added 2025-09-27 19:45:21 +0000 UTCIt's that time of year once again!!! BlimpTober is almost here!! Here's what to expect this year, for anyone who is new to the page.
BlimpTober is my Inktober event. Every day of the month I post a new drawing based on a character and a prompt for that character. This year, the characters and prompts were all chosen by my Discord group, The Full Blimps.
BlimpTober is posted exclusively on my Patreon and my DA Subs, and this year, there are added goals that if reached, more drawings will be added to the lineup. The goals are listed on the BlimpTober Lineup sheet above, but for every $10 milestone on Patreon or every 10 subscriber milestone on DeviantArt Subs, I will add a drawing, with the max goal being $300 on Patreon, or 70 subscribers on DA Subs.
I draw the BlimpTober art live on Picarto, and the livestream is free to everyone, so if you just want to see the upcoming BlimpTober art in progress without subscribing, come on over: https://picarto.tv/berryduke96
At the end of the event, I will hold a public poll. The top 5 voted BlimpTober prompts will be posted publicly on DeviantArt and Bluesky.
This year, the BlimpTober drawings are being drawn traditionally. I'm using an 8.5x11 mixed media sketchbook, and I'm using a mix of colored pencils, alcohol markers, and even my sets of paint pens.
This year's is going to be a bit of a scramble. I have not had any time to prep up in advance, so it's looking like I really am gonna have to do a drawing every day to keep up. I will do my best not to wind up posting any of these late.
For anyone else who wants to know the progress on Patreon requests, I'm almost finished with the last of them. I'm going to post them around the 30th, or on the first of October.
I do apologize for not having a promotion drawing for BlimpTober made for this year. I do not have the time to draw one or the money to commission one, so I will just worry about that next year XD See y'all on BlimpTober!!
