BTS #10 (Where I have been / Will be for the time being!)
🕑 Added 2022-12-18 15:58:50 +0000 UTCHey guys! Its been a while. Sorry for not posting so frequently, have been hard at work restructuring my whole workflow.
I'm currently in the process of switching render engines, and I took the opportunity to redo my bunny model from the ground up!
3D artwork is a LOT of work and effort. Virtual Characters need to be modeled, shaded, textured, furshaded, furstyled, textured, outfitted and rigged before I can start animating. (Ive got 37 current progress saves, and I'm probably going to triple that before its all ready.)
I've taken the results from some various polls and I'm adding a lot to this new version!
I want to stay true to the source material, but I also want to make her a little curvier. I'm also adding a lot more detail to the naughty bits, and overall just improving the render quality by a lot by the switch to redshift. I'm also going to make improvements to the rig which will allow for more ambitious poses, and smoother animation in general!
All of this will allow me to produce higher quality renders, MUCH faster. Im moving past the sculpting phase now, and I'm going to try and post more frequent progress updates at each stage.
Should be up and running again ASAP!
Appreciate all of your support -- this page is what allows me to make big moves like this :)
Talk soon,
-RH
