What did we do this week? (Oct 14th 2021)
🕑 Added 2021-10-14 07:50:41 +0000 UTCFei : This past two weeks were quite unusual as we finished a big update, I made a trailer and started looking for places online to talk about the game. I did spent a lot of time doing researches. I've spent surprisingly quite a lot of time updating all our graphic assets from Steam and various forums / platforms like GameJolt or Itch io, each platform having different requirement for their graphics.
The big time sink was that for instance Steam's graphic assets often have features requiring the graphics to work on different settings such as working whether seen from desktop or mobile, or allowing smooth parallax effect with logo, or allow one side of the graphic to generate specific text and so on.
I've been also trying to post, contact and reply to people, not sure if anything will come out of that but it's usually how networking work I suppose.
I've also spent a considerable amount of time writing the big update news to various places. I really hope more influencers will pick up Neon Tail and have a good time with our game! Crossing all the fingers!
過去兩周裡面，我們完成了一次大更新，我製作了預告片，並開始在網路上尋找在談論遊戲內容的地方。我花了大量時間去更新Steam、GameJolt與 Itch io等各種論壇/平台上的顯示圖像，給個平台對於圖像的規格要求都不同。
大的社群網站，例如Steam往往要求圖像能夠在各個不同裝置下顯示，如桌機與手機上，各有不同的圖像需要製作，或者允許LOGO有平滑的視差效果，又或者可以讓圖形的一邊生成特定文字等等。
我也一直嘗試發文，回覆他們，不確定會有甚麼具體成果，但我想這樣通常是網路運作的方式。
也花了相當多的時間把大型更新的消息放到不同的地方，我真心希望有更多具有影響力的人能夠玩Neon Tail，並在我們的遊戲中度過愉快的時光！祝好運！
Leo : With the big polish of Chapter 1 out of the way, now is a good time to do some marketing work so more players could know about this game. I started making new accessories for it. Feili just made a new system for the accessories such as tails to have physics. Before this, all accessories were solid on Ruby without any dynamic. Now we can make dynamic accessories. So far there is only a black cat tail implemented, so we need more tails urgently. I found some references ,Feili and Yang gave me some ideas then I went to work and got some of them done already. If you guys have any idea, you are welcome to post them on our discord server. I'll keep make tails, and some accessory sets like bunny girl set for those current accessory, stay tuned!
經過大型改版之後，我們需要進行市場營銷來推廣改版後的成果，這段期間我開始製作一些新的飾品來吸引玩家。不久之前Feili剛搞定了尾巴部位的飾品製作，在此之前，所有的飾品都是固定在腳色身上沒有任何動態，經過這次改版之後，尾巴的飾品已經可以展現動態模擬的功能了。目前遊戲中只有一個黑貓尾巴的飾品，因此我們急需更多的尾巴，所以我開始進行大量尾巴是品的製作。我找了一些參考圖片，Feili跟Yang也給了我一些意見，如果你們有更多的建議，歡迎到我們的Discord跟我們一起討論。除了持續製作更多的尾巴之外，接下來我也會把現有的飾品製作出一些成套的其他部位出來，例如兔女郎套裝等等，敬請期待。
Yang : Recently I've been doing a bunch of things linked with operating a company, I prepared documents (business plan, proposal powerpoint), have had online meetings with official staff from indie game event from China, I've been in contact with accountant... etc, and we got bug reports from players too, so I need to fix bugs and update the side mission "finding cat", then go back to previous works. Keep it up! :D
最近我一直在處理公司營運的相關事務，製作商業計畫書，提案簡報，與中國獨立遊戲大獎的官方人員開會，聯絡會計師等等。然後現在有玩家回報了新的Bug與找貓任務需要些微修改，這些完成後，我會再回去完成那些文件。繼續加油！:D
