“Let him enjoy his drama, Nick,” she replied. “I am more curious about what he wants to discuss with us. What could be so secretive that he couldn’t put in the letter?”
“Come on, Penny,” Nicholas chuckled. “That boy has always been too secretive for his own good. I bet it’s something that gets him off even in his old age.”
“Don’t make me rinse that mouth with soap, Nicholas Flamel,” Perenelle warned.
Nicholas rolled his eyes and looked back at the letter.
“Well, I guess I better reply then. I can’t say I’m not intrigued with whatever that boy has cooked up now,” he said and flicked his wand, summoning a parchment and self-inking quill, and began writing.
