On The Hunt: Chapter 18
🕑 Added 2023-05-02 17:30:01 +0000 UTCHarry was the first to catch his bearing. He nodded at the young woman. She was the perfect replica of Fleur, with those blue eyes and that silvery-blonde hair that ran down her shoulders in waves. He also noticed that she was as tall as Daphne.
“Hello, Gabrielle. Nice to see you again.”
Gabrielle Delacour stared at them for a moment before she beamed.
“Harry!” She gave him an enthusiastic hug before looking at Daphne. “Hey, cousin,” she smiled and hugged her as well. Neither reciprocated the hugs, instead staring at her with similar frowns.
“What’s up with that long face?” Gabrielle asked with a chuckle before looking at their clasped hands. “Forget it. Congratulations on your betrothal. I already did in the letter, but it makes sense to say it in person as well, right?”
Harry and Daphne kept looking at her with frowns on their faces.
“What are you doing here Gabrielle?” Harry asked instead.
“What do you mean what am I doing here?” She chuckled. “I’m attending Hogwarts now. Decided to transfer for the final three years. It was so nice last year. I made such good friends and I learned so much as well. It just made sense to continue here.”
“I see,” Harry muttered. Her shitty act fooled no one. “Why didn’t you reveal yourself to us until now? We met last night as well, but you never showed your face. Daphne here is your cousin, and yet she had no clue you were joining Hogwarts. You never mentioned it either.”
Gabrielle’s forced smile widened as she chuckled, again. “Oh, it’s just that after I went through my maturity, I was embarrassed to show my face to you. You already made so much fun of me last year. As for why I didn’t tell you two about joining Hogwarts… well… it was a sudden decision. I told Maman and Papa only two days ago that I wanted to go to Hogwarts. There was no time to tell anyone else.”
Harry exchanged a glance with Daphne, who had pursed her lips.
“That makes sense,” she lied, turning to look at her cousin and giving her a small smile. Gabrielle grinned.
“Well, classes will start soon. I’d better get going. See you two later, lovebirds,” she teased with a smirk before turning around and walking away.
Harry and Daphne stared at the retreating blonde before they turned to look at each other.
“You okay?” Daphne asked in a whisper as she took his hand in hers. Harry’s response was to kiss her knuckle and smile.
“Perfectly fine,” he replied. “We’ll talk to her later. For now, let’s head over to the Charms class.”
Daphne nodded with a sigh and together, they walked towards the flight of stairs. They never noticed the longing blue eyes of a certain veela as she stared at them from behind the alcove, or the tears that fell shortly after.
Gabrielle sniffed and took a few breaths to calm herself. Her fingers wiped her eyes and she quickly swished her wand to fix her appearance. She had made her decision, and she was not going to get cold feet at the first proper sight of him. Her pride demanded nothing less.
It had been painful seeing them together the previous night after the headmaster had dismissed them. For months she had spent hours with Harry, and yet, they had never breached past the curtain of friendship. And here he was with her cousin, so happy and content after only a month of courtship. She had no shame in admitting that the two certainly looked great together.
She had noticed the actions they unconsciously did. Such habits formed as a result of prolonged closeness, and they were very close. There was no doubt in her mind about that.
The display her cousin had put the first thing in the morning had taken even her by surprise. The Daphne she knew would’ve never dared to do something like that. However, it seemed her cousin had changed significantly since Harry came into her life and knew how to take what she wanted while letting the world know about it. Gabrielle could not help but admire that.
Even Harry was different. He looked… happier. Even with the burden of this Dark Lord on his shoulders and the pressure from the ministry, there was not even a grimace on his face, particularly when he was with Daphne.
Gabrielle liked Harry. She had for months now. However, her pride came before Harry. She knew he and Daphne were bound for life, and they had quickly found happiness in each other. The least she could do was be happy for them and support their relationship as much as she could.
Once she concluded that she looked perfectly normal, Gabrielle wrapped her scarf around the lower half of her face once again and left the alcove.

Harry and Daphne walked together through the doors to the Charms classroom and took their seats near the front. They pointedly ignored the sick smirk on Malfoy’s face or the glare Parkinson directed at Daphne before sneering at Harry.
The students slowly started to file in. As usual, they had the class with Slytherins, and Harry kept monitoring Blaise Zabini. As Daphne had said, the boy took his seat away from Malfoy’s little group and was joined by… no one. Harry exchanged a look with Daphne, who shrugged.
“He really keeps to himself, doesn’t he?” Harry asked her in a whisper. Daphne shook her head.
“Zabini has talked to us a few times, but it’s always been Trace who’s initiated contact.”
Harry nodded. “I think you should deal with the Slytherins as you see fit. Probably let Tracey approach him once again.”
Daphne nodded.
Harry exchanged a small smile with Neville who took the seat to their left when Tracey arrived and looked at them with a smirk.
“Should’ve known you’d be sitting with your man from now on,” she teased, before looking at Neville. A mischievous smirk came over her face and she nudged the boy with her hip. Bewildered, Neville looked up at her.
“Mind some company, Longbottom?”
The poor boy wordlessly shook his head and looked at Harry, who could only give him a sympathetic smile. Neville lacked confidence, and having someone like Tracey approaching him like that was bound to be overwhelming.
“Trace, be nice,” Daphne chided softly as her friend slid in beside Neville. The brunette grinned and turned to look at the boy sitting next to her.
“So Neville… I can call you Neville, right?”
The boy gave a small nod. Tracey smiled.
“Nice. So tell me a bit about yourself.”
Harry and Daphne watched as the boy floundered while Tracey blazed on like the avalanche she was.
“I pity him. I really do,” Daphne whispered as they looked at the overwhelmed boy who could barely keep up with Tracey’s rapid-fire assault.
However, the brunette’s tirade was cut off when the professor arrived and the class began.
Harry exchanged a look with the Charms master who gave him a small nod. He smiled and leaned back as Flitwick took his place on top of a small stack of books.
“Welcome everyone to the first Charms lesson of your OWL year. This year is going to be particularly challenging since you will be taking the first of two primary wizarding examinations. As such, your curriculum shall be more diverse and involve more practical application of magic. It is expected of you to deal with the theoretical portion of the syllabus at your leisure and consult me in case of doubts. That applies to essays and notes as well. In the classroom, we shall be focusing more on the casting the spells that you have either already learnt in the past four years or will learn during the year. Are you all with me so far?”
There was an undercurrent of enthusiasm across the classroom at Flitwick’s announcement. Barely any student liked to bother with the theory, so to learn that they would be focusing almost entirely on spellwork was indeed exciting.
Harry smiled when Daphne patted his thigh and he glanced at her to see a small smile dancing on her familiar lips. It helped to have the teachers in the Order as well. As part of their preparations, Dumbledore had instructed McGonagall, Flitwick, and Moody to focus more on spellwork and intensify the curriculum beyond the normal OWL or NEWT levels. As such, the students would be learning new spells and how to use them in battles in the classroom without anyone being the wiser.
There was indeed the unavoidable risk of having prospective Death Eater students getting the same help. However, that was a risk they were willing to tolerate if it meant so many students could get combat training in the name of education.
Although a few Order members had frowned at this underhanded tactic, they had been quickly mollified. The students would be learning the spells at an accelerated and intensified pace, which would also help them with their grades. It was nowhere similar to training them the way Harry and Daphne had been training themselves for the past month and yet did enough to prepare them for what was coming to some extent.
Flitwick instructed them to practice silently casting the charms they had learned in the past four years. Harry and Daphne quickly went about their way as the other students joined in. Silent casting was something they had never tried before, and nervous anticipation was palpable across the classroom.
Minutes passed and Harry was looking around at the prospective students he and Daphne had singled out the previous night. What he saw made him equal parts anticipatory and concerned. The students were all meticulously trying to cast silently, and a few even managed a few basic first-year spells. However, most of them were having trouble.
And then there was Neville. The boy had trouble when casting even verbal spells, so silent casting was akin to asking the impossible. He and Daphne saw Tracey trying to encourage a visibly frowning young man who could only nod and try again, only for nothing.
“Try visualizing, Nev,” Harry encouraged the boy.
“It’s no use,” Neville muttered as he dropped his wand on the desk and sat down. “No matter how much I try, nothing happens.”
“Oh c’mon, Neville,” Tracey chided. “You cast them verbally. You’ll get the hang of silent casting soon enough. Look around. Very few students even managed with the first-year spells.”
Tracey was right. However, Neville shook his head.
“I can barely manage to cast verbally. You have no idea how hard it is. Silent casting is impossible for me.”
Daphne frowned as she looked at him.
“That shouldn’t happen though,” Harry interjected with a frown. “I saw you casting those spells. You did everything right. There must be something wrong.”
“What’s the matter here?” Flitwick had seen what was happening and had come over. Harry looked at the professor and explained the issue Neville was facing while casting spells.
“The practical portion of your grades has always been underwhelming, Mr. Longbottom,” Flitwick began with a frown. “At least in Charms and Transfiguration. I cannot comment on Defense since you’ve barely had constant instruction in that subject. You do need improvement in that aspect.”
“I always give it my all, professor,” the boy muttered morosely. “I have no idea what my problem is.”
Flitwick sighed. “There are several factors that might affect someone’s spellcasting. A mental block, anxiety, magical issues, lack of understanding, suitability of your wand, and more. You need to figure out what is holding you back. That is all I can say.”
They looked at the professor who walked back to the front of the classroom as the bell rang.
“You have no homework for the day. However, I want you to practice silent casting whenever you can. That is all.”
Harry and Daphne grabbed their bags and walked out of the classroom with Neville and Tracey in tow.
“Have you felt anything wrong, Nev? Anything you can think of? Because I haven’t got a clue. You follow all the instructions to the tee and I don’t think you have any sort of mental block or anxiety issues either, particularly when you’re practicing in private,” Harry remarked as they walked.
Neville shrugged. “No idea.”
“We’ll find out what the issue is. Don’t worry,” Daphne reassured the boy with a small smile.
Their next class was Defense – one which was going to be an integral part of their plans. They entered the classroom and took their seats at the front. Moody was already present, leaning against his desk. His artificial eye zoomed around the classroom as the students entered, creeping a few out.
Finally, when everyone had come in, he flicked his wand and the doors shut with a loud bang. A few students jumped in surprise.
“I will have to tolerate you brats for one more year. Must be repaying for putting those filthy scum in Azkaban all those years ago,” Moody grunted as he looked around the classroom. Harry smirked when he saw a few Slytherins’ faces harden. They truly needed to get better at controlling their emotions.
It seemed even Moody had noticed as a feral grin took over his face.
“When it comes to Defense, you should know I believe in a very hands-on approach. As such, the Hogwarts Duelling Club will be revived starting next week. It is a club in name only, and will be mandatory for each student from fourth year and above.”
Excited whispers erupted all over the classroom at the declaration.
“You lot are OWL students. Read the theory on your own. There will be no foolish paper pushing in this classroom. Wands out!”
The students hastened to follow Moody’s instruction and watched as the professor whipped his wand and deposited all the seats near the wall in a neat stack.
“Hands-on approach, eh? One volunteer from each house, come forward.”
When no one moved immediately, Moody slammed his staff on the floor. Harry felt an invisible hand push him forward, and he quickly caught his footing. The same could not be said about the other boy as he barely managed to stand upright. Harry smirked when he saw who it was.
“Potter, Malfoy, take positions.”
Harry obeyed eagerly. He had been itching to teach this ponce a lesson since the train ride. He exchanged a look with Daphne, who blew him a kiss and winked. Smirking, he turned to look at Malfoy who was standing opposite him near the wall.
“As much as it would amuse me, stay away from spells that could cause any serious damage. At my command,” Moody instructed.
Harry observed Malfoy’s stance, and he had to admit that the boy had improved from their second year.
“Begin!”
“Stupefy!”
Harry swatted the stunner aside like it was nothing, and Malfoy looked at him in shock. Harry retaliated immediately, a vicious stinger cast silently rushing towards Malfoy who hastily conjured a shield. His hex crashed harmlessly against the shield and Malfoy offered his rebuttal in the form of another stunner. Harry flicked it aside once again. The boy knew how to cast a stunner and a shield as well – impressive for a fifth-year newbie.
“That’s all?” He taunted the blonde, who glared at him hatefully.
“Serpensortia!” Malfoy shouted. Harry could only shake his head at the idiot’s choice of a spell. Did he learn nothing after the last time?
A large cobra emerged from Malfoy’s wand and lunged at him.
“~Stop!~” Harry hissed in Parseltongue, smirking when a perverse silence shrouded the entire classroom. Malfoy looked at him with an ashen face.
“~Go to the blonde peacock over there and wrap yourself around him.~” Harry instructed the snake. It obeyed his command immediately, and Malfoy shrieked when he saw the snake slithering toward him.
Harry summoned the wand he had thrown and watched as the boy tripped over and fell. The snake immediately wrapped itself around the boy and hissed menacingly.
“~Choke him slightly and keep your face as close to his without actually touching him.~”
The snake obeyed without hesitation, and Malfoy’s fingers clenched in the air as he lay prone on the floor with a large cobra wrapped around his neck and torso. Its face was almost touching his nose and he shut his eyes firmly.
Harry looked around and saw everyone looking at the spectacle in abject shock. His eyes fell on Daphne, who nodded for him to let go now, that he had made his point. Harry pursed his lips.
“~Leave him. You can go now. Slither down the castle wall through that window.~”
The snake pulled away from Malfoy, bowed towards him, and followed his command. Everyone stared as it slithered out of the window and vanished out of sight.
“Heh, interesting,” Moody chuckled as he took his place back near his desk. “Not conventional at all, but to each their own. Take five points, Potter.”
Harry shrugged and joined Daphne once again, who took his hand and squeezed affectionately. He smiled.
“Stand up and stop wasting time already, Malfoy. You could emulate your father sometime else,” Moody grunted. Harry smirked at the blonde who shakingly got up. Parkinson immediately latched on to him, helping him over to stand against the wall.
“How the tables have turned,” Harry couldn’t help but remark as he glared at Malfoy, who dared not look back. He had been subjected to abhorrent behavior from Snape for years. It did feel good to see Malfoy being subjected to similar treatment for once.
“Now, Potter used certain… unusual tactics to win that duel. You lot won’t be using Parseltongue,” Moody grunted. “But you lot will be using nonverbal spellcasting from now on. Flitwick must’ve instructed you already. You’ll do the same here. Form pairs and get on with it. Make sure you don’t interfere with others.”
Harry turned to look at Daphne. “Think you could pair up with Tracey? I’d like to see if I can spot what issue Neville might have.”
Daphne nodded and gestured for Tracey to follow her. Harry and Neville walked over alongside them and took positions to their left.
“Alright, Nev. Try the leg-locker. Verbally at first.”
Neville nodded, and Harry observed the boy. His pronunciation and wand movement were both flawless, and he wordlessly swatted the weak spell aside. There was no way Neville was truly that weak. He refused to believe it.
“What’s the matter here?” Moody came over and grunted as he looked at them critically. Harry looked at the man and explained the dilemma. Moody listened intently, his magical eye whizzing around in that socket as it stared at Neville for a moment before dropping to his wand.
“You’re not an idiot, are you, Longbottom?”
“Huh? No, no professor,” the boy replied uncertainly. Moody clicked his tongue in annoyance.
“Merlin, another Frank. Great. Stand straight, boy!” The man instructed, and Neville complied immediately. Harry watched the interaction with pursed lips.
“You are your father’s son,” Moody intoned. “I recall him being a meek fellow when he joined the academy. Quite a headache, if I must say. Now tell me boy, why are you using Frank’s wand?”
Neville stared at the scarred man, confused.
“Well… my gran gave it to me when I was eleven. Said I would be as good as my father.”
“Bollocks!” Moody grunted and plucked the wand right out of Neville’s hand, looking it over keenly. “Ol’ Augusta is truly a fool sometimes,” he whispered, before handing the wand over to Neville again.
“Go to Ollivander and get a new wand, boy. That wand is not suited to you. Keep using it and you’ll never learn anything. I’ll be having a nice talk with your grandmother in the meantime, you can be sure of that,” Moody smiled sickeningly and walked away.
Harry turned to look at Neville, who was staring at the wand with a morose look on his face. He sighed and looked at Daphne and Tracey who had also come over during Moody’s intervention.
“It’s good that we now know what’s wrong, isn’t it?” Tracey asked as she looked at Neville, who was still frowning.
“I thought I’d be as good as my father, that I’ll do justice to his wand. I never thought it would reject me. I’m such a disappointment.”
“Oh shut up already,” Tracey snarked as she clapped him on the back. “You’re not a disappointment, idiot. So what if this wand didn’t choose you? There is one waiting for you out there. Your father would want you to become the best you can be, not keep banging your head against the wall hoping it would move. Seriously, get a grip and man up.”
“What she said, but without the bitchy parts,” Daphne interjected with a sigh. Tracey clicked her tongue and looked at Neville, who was still staring at the wand.
‘Merlin,’ she thought exasperatedly.
They separated, but not for long. As soon as the class ended, Tracey grabbed Neville’s hand and dragged him out of the classroom, leaving a bewildered Harry and Daphne staring at them.
“The hell’s going on?” Harry asked in surprise. Daphne shrugged.
“No idea. Knowing her, it’s either nothing good or something very good. Come on, there’s nothing we can do about it.”
Harry nodded and took her hand, and they both stared at Malfoy who walked away with Pansy supporting him. His two gorilla bodyguards trailed behind them.
“Not gonna lie, that felt really good,” he said with a chuckle. Daphne nodded, finding an odd sort of vindication at seeing Malfoy so terrified and then the treatment he received at the hands of Moody.
“He won’t sit back though.”
“I know. And I’m counting on it,” he replied with a smirk as he looked at her. Smiling, Daphne looked up at him and returned his chaste kiss.

Neville and Tracey met them outside the History classroom and they stared at them. Neville was blushing furiously but there was no mistaking the grin on his face. For her part, Tracey was smirking in satisfaction. Daphne had a sinking feeling and she pulled her best friend to the side.
Harry watched as she hissed something before Tracey whispered in return, and he furrowed his brows when Daphne’s eyes bugged out as she stared at her friend in disbelief. He turned to look at Neville who was still grinning with a red face.
“Nev? Everything alright?”
Neville turned to look at Harry and grinned. “Never better, mate!”
Harry raised his eyebrows at the exuberant reply and looked at Daphne who came over with Tracey. Immediately, he grabbed her hand and pulled her close.
“What did she do?” He asked in a whisper, keeping an eye on Tracey, who looked at him and winked.
“That idiot… she dragged him inside a broom closet and snogged him senselessly!”
Harry’s eyes widened. That explained it.
“And that’s not all!” Daphne continued in a whisper. “She’s told Neville they could kiss whenever he wants. She’s all for it.”
“Really?” Harry asked, and he couldn’t help but grin. ‘Good for you, Nev!’
Daphne sighed. “Apparently my idiot friend has had hots for him since last year. Took her chance as soon as she could.”
“That’s great,” Harry chuckled. “I guess it might help Nev gain some much-needed confidence as well.”
He turned to look at Neville and Tracey, and couldn’t help but notice that they were standing much closer than normal. He flashed a grin at them. Neville flushed even more while Tracey smirked.
“I agree,” Daphne nodded with a sigh. “Still, she could’ve been more subtle about it. I can’t imagine how overwhelmed he must’ve felt.”
Harry chuckled. “Seems like things worked out just fine. Good for them.”
Daphne nodded with a small smile as they joined them. Harry clapped Neville on the back.
“You sure work fast Nev,” he teased, chuckling at the reddened face the boy sported and nodded at Tracey. “Come on, let’s get this over with.”
They sighed and walked inside the classroom. Immediately, they grimaced as they took in the sight. After the departure of Binns, the students had expected that the atmosphere of the classroom would improve, but if anything, it had worsened considerably.
The walls were painted a hideous baby pink, and the color seemed to be glaring at them.
“It’s hideous. I feel I’ll puke,” Tracey gagged as they walked over and took their seats at the back. There was no need to expose themselves to the sight of the toad more than absolutely necessary.
Most of the students had already taken their seats. Harry noted with satisfaction that Malfoy was not present, although his lackeys were. He wondered where the boy was.
His query was answered when the boy entered the classroom with a smug smile on his face. Harry stared at him with a raised eyebrow, wondering why he was so cocky when realization dawned on him.
True to his prediction, Dolores Umbridge entered the classroom and immediately all chatter ceased. Students watched on as she walked over to the podium and looked over at them.
“Good morning, class.”
There were a few subdued mutterings and Umbridge tutted condescendingly.
“Now, now… that won’t do. When I greet you, I expect you to greet me back with equal enthusiasm. From now on, you will greet me back with a happy Good Morning, Professor Umbridge! Okay? Good. Let’s try again. Good morning, class.”
“Good morning, Professor Umbridge,” most of the students called out in a monotone. Umbridge smiled.
“Room for improvement, but it will do for now,” she smiled widely, her pointed teeth visible and Harry sighed.
“Before we begin the class, there is a small matter I need to tend to. Mr. Potter, Mr. Malfoy, if you two would please join me here.”
Harry shrugged and stood up, squeezing Daphne’s hand as he did so. She kept her eyes trained on the woman, and Harry did not doubt that his girl would gouge this toad’s eyes out if she so much as stepped out of the line. He saw Malfoy already at the front and smirked at the blonde.
“Good,” Umbridge smiled. “Now, it has come to my attention that there was an altercation between the two of you, which should’ve never happened. Professor Moody sanctioned a fight between two students, which goes against the ethics of the profession of teaching. Rest assured, I shall be raising the matter in front of the appropriate authorities lest such behaviour be repeated.”
Harry had to stop himself from laughing out loud. Moody would bury this toad where she stood without thinking about the consequences.
“However, it was your conduct, Mr. Potter, which I’ve been told was utterly reprehensible. You used this as an opportunity to target a fellow student in a classroom, even getting a venomous snake to attack Mr. Malfoy and inadvertently threatening him. I’m afraid such conduct is unbecoming of a Hogwarts student. A two-hundred-point deduction and detention with me for two months should suffice as punishment. I would advise you to exercise caution in the future and not let this repeat. You may go after you apologize to Mr. Malfoy for your abhorrent behaviour.”
The class stared at Umbridge in shock. During her entire tirade, not once had her mask of that sickeningly sweet smile cracked. Harry looked at a smirking Malfoy and smiled chillingly. The blonde flinched at the malicious glare his eyes directed at him, before Harry looked at Umbridge.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about, Professor,” Harry replied innocently. Umbridge’s smile widened.
“I’m afraid playing ignorant will not help you, Mr. Potter. Not when there were so many witnesses involved.”
Harry shook his head with a smile. “You misunderstand me, Professor. I never said the events didn’t happen. I’m just saying I have no idea what you mean when you say I targeted Malfoy. For one, it was Malfoy who cast the spell that summoned the snake, not for the first time, I must add. He did the same during our second year. Just like back then, I told the snake to go away and leave everyone alone. It’s not my fault that the snake didn’t take too kindly to Malfoy dragging it away from its natural habitat and forcing it to become a part of something it didn’t want to. Unless you’re saying I could control the snake? Which I assure you, no one can unless one is using the Imperius. And I’d suggest you be very careful if you do think I used the Imperius to control the snake and make it attack Malfoy.”
Umbridge’s eyes widened and Harry smirked at Malfoy’s glare. ‘You’re an amateur at this game, you ponce. Just like your shithead father.’
Harry looked at Umbridge once again. “I would also prefer if you gave us any proof that I made the snake attack Malfoy, and if not, I would really advise you to reverse those punishments, unless you want to hear from the Board of Governors, Professor.”
Umbridge stared calculatingly at the Potter heir. Indeed, she could not prove that he had made the snake attack the Malfoy scion without opting for measures she couldn’t. Also, it wouldn’t do to have the Board on her case on the very first day. She smiled.
“It seems we had a misunderstanding. Indeed it cannot be proven that you made the snake attack Mr. Malfoy. It is also true that animals do what they want. Very well, please take your seats,” she smiled stiffly. Harry smirked and nodded before walking over to take his seat beside Daphne, all the while aware of the eyes staring at him.
“Oh, and Professor? You forgot to reverse those punishments,” he smirked at her from his seat. Umbridge gave him a falsely sweet smile and restored the points. With a small grimace, she canceled the detentions as well.
Umbridge quickly composed herself and walked over to the podium. The woman knew very well when and how to backtrack. He had to give her at least that. However, she was impatient. This little episode had clued him into that fact. She had jumped on the first opportunity she could find against him.
Harry took Daphne’s hand and smirked at her.
“We’ll use that impatience against her,” she leaned close and whispered. Harry responded by nudging her shoulder with his as she smirked back. Indeed, she had reached the same conclusion.

I love watching the "toad" get turned every which way but loose verbally. And harry did it all with what I could see as a sly little smile. Yet another amazing chapter.

Kind of confused as to Gabrielle’s reasoning for coming to Hogwarts. I mean I understand the reasoning you have obviously. But it seems like she’s lying to herself in her thoughts which is interesting. Another great chapter!
