First of all, if you've not voted in the poll yet, what are you waiting for? Go and check it out. What you want, I write.
So, by a landslide, it seems Fleur is set to win the poll. Daphne has half of her votes till now and Hermione even less. I don't think any of them will be able to catch up with the French beauty.
I just want a quick response from you guys. Do you want me to make it a proper fanfiction with serious plot or would you want me to do a primarily smut fic instead? I just want to tell you all that I am open to both the options - the first one will revolve around the Triwizard Tournament, while the latter will have detailed lovemaking similar to the Halloween story, obviously with a proper build-up, again just like in the Halloween story.
Do reply in the comments below as your opinion matters the most to me as a writer.
Also, keep on the lookout for new polls that will be coming up in the following weeks. I am going to start two new types of projects:
1. Each chapter featuring a different female character from the Harry Potter universe.
2. Similar to above, but this time with a mature twist. You'll see what I mean when I publish the poll.
These fics will be updated once a week (most probably during the week) while the one with Fleur (or whoever it is, if she manages to catch up with her) will be updated on weekends.

I would say take it as far as you want. I feel like a romance between them in the middle of the war isn’t too far fetched. I could see them becoming closer and closer after each task and then they could be at the graveyard during Voldemort’s resurrection and survive and escape. Fleur could then move from France to England after she graduates and join the order of the Phoenix to fight Voldemort as well as help Harry deal with the stress of 5th year by helping him feel loved and protected and not isolated like he was in canon. You could also maybe speed the end of the war up a bit instead of making it happen during Harry’s last year at Hogwarts. Anyway it’s ultimately your decision and you have the final say on what you want to write. I’ll read it either way.

If I write the fic starting in GoF, do you want me to take it all the to the end of the war? Because if I do write a fic that follows the canon plot then it would feel incomplete if the storyline isn't finished. Obviously romance will be somewhat overshadowed due to other aspects of Harry v Voldemort if I do that. However, if I do one in the future, then there will be snippets from their past in the form of flashbacks while their getting reconnected will take place in the present scenario.
