“Harry?” Maria asked softly, reaching out and placing a hand on his thigh. Harry let out a sigh and glanced at her with a weak smile.
“Never thought today would end like this,” he whispered. “I can’t believe I didn’t see this coming. She’s very good at hiding her true self, I’ll give her that. We were as close as two people could get and still, I had no clue.”
“According to Norse beliefs, Loki is the God of Mischief, or Goddess in this case,” Maria intoned. “She’s a trickster.”
“You say that and still you think she was not tricking me when we were together,” Harry remarked instantly.
“Call it intuition,” Nat interjected for the first time. She looked up when they turned to her. “I believe Maria. She was not lying to you for even a second back there.”
Harry pursed his lips and glanced away.
“It doesn’t matter. She’s a tyrant. I can’t ever be with someone like her. We’re through.”
Natasha exchanged a look with Maria. Before they could speak up, a shower of golden sparks lit up and Felicia appeared before them. The blonde quickly made her way around the small table in the middle and planted herself sideways on Harry’s lap, cupping his cheek gently.
“What happened that you lost it so bad?” She asked, her voice uncharacteristically somber. She turned to Maria and Natasha and said, “You two should share the entire thing properly. I could barely understand what was going on.”
“You were on a mission, Felicia. It needed your complete—”
“It needed my focus, yeah, yeah, yeah. I get it. Doesn’t mean this SHIELD business is more important than my man here,” she retorted firmly. Turning back to Harry, she stared deep into his eyes. “Tell me everything, baby.”
Harry sighed and opened his mind link, letting her see everything that had happened between him and Sylvia from the first time they had met in that pub to when he left her in the room mere minutes ago.
Felicia blinked as the memories ran their course and stared at Harry blankly for a few seconds, prompting him to raise an askance eyebrow.

“She most likely is,” Natasha agreed. “She wouldn’t have been affected by it so much if she wasn’t.”
“Yeah, right, both of you,” Felicia nodded. “Just as you said, she could be connected to it, exactly like those she was controlling. It could be as simple as that, or it could be something else entirely.”
“I see what you’re getting at,” Maria muttered thoughtfully. “It’s certainly a possibility but we don’t know enough about anything going on here with that scepter to say for sure.”
“Yeah, but it’s possible, right? Then shouldn’t we try to find out if it’s really the case?”
“Would you two mind sharing what you’re talking about?” Natasha asked, crossing her arms over her generous bust as she stared at them.
“The thought came to me as well,” Maria replied. “Basically what we’re thinking is what if Sylvia is also being controlled by that Mind Stone that’s inside her scepter? It’s possible, right? Harry?”
All three women looked over at Harry who sat, leaning back on the couch with Felicia on his lap. He had a pondering look on his face as he mulled over their theory.
“The way that scepter’s powers work is very similar to the Imperius curse. Usually, someone puts another under the Imperius and controls their actions.”
“But?” Maria prompted.
“There were a few cases once. I’ve not seen them personally but I heard about them happening around the time I was born,” he remarked. “I told you about Voldemort, remember? Well, he and his people used to put others under the Imperius curse for various reasons and there were a few reports that they once established a chain of people who had been put under that curse. Basically, Voldemort put one person who then put a few more.”
“Forming a proper network for commanding,” Natasha said in realization.
“Exactly,” Harry nodded.
“If this stone works like this curse then it is possible that she’s been under its influence as well,” Felicia said firmly. “It could be unlikely, but we can’t rule it out.”
“I’m inclined to agree with you there,” Maria nodded at the blonde who smirked and turned back to Harry with a raised eyebrow.
He exchanged a look with Natasha who merely shrugged.
“It’s worth looking into,” the redhead replied.
Lips pursed, Harry drummed his fingers on Felicia’s thigh as he thought about it.
“Alright then,” he said as he stood up, taking Felicia with him. The blonde let out a small yelp and Harry gently dropped her to her feet. “Let’s get done with those who’ve been put under her control first and then we can get to it.”
“Makes sense,” Natasha nodded.
“I’ll be with you in a few minutes,” Harry said and walked back upstairs, leaving the three women by themselves.

“Spill what?” Felicia asked with a raised eyebrow, staring at Natasha.
“You vouching so hard for her. What gives?”
“Oh, I’m just putting a possible scenario out there. Isn’t that what we’re supposed to do as agents?” Felicia asked with a raised eyebrow.

I’m just hoping what I said is true. He really liked her and if she’s not the maniac we all believe her to be, then everything goes back to normal. Maria and Natasha gazed at each other before they nodded.
“Exactly,” Felicia whispered. “We all want Harry to be happy and he will be very happy if this woman’s innocent. Let’s just hope our theory sticks and he can get back to shagging her rotten.”

“Would you stop playing with explosives, Stark?” Steve asked in exasperation.

“Do we have any way to contact Harry, Agent Barton?”
“Nat and Agent Hill know, but seeing how they’re not responding, I’d say it’s pointless trying to contact any of them.”
“Don’t tell he the horndog couldn’t keep it in his pants after that fight,” Tony remarked. Steve let out another sigh. He was doing a lot of it today.
“I wouldn’t put it past him, or any of them for that matter,” Barton replied. “Nat’s changed a lot since contacting the Pottervirus.”
“I heard that!”
Barton whirled around abruptly just as Harry appeared with three beautiful women draped over him. He held them close, steadying them after their travel before he relinquished his hold on them.
“Went alone, made two follow, and came back with three. If that ain’t a fuckboy, I don’t know what is,” Tony remarked. Harry merely flipped him the bird.
“You left us with quite a hassle here, Harry,” Steve said curtly, gesturing with his head toward the bound and unconscious form of Zabo.

Tony stared at the fallen man before he turned to Harry.
“Imma figure out your jam one of these days, I tell you.”
“Be my guest,” Harry replied amusedly. “Anything else holding you guys up?”
“Uh… no,” Barton replied. “We can go now. Right, Cap?”
“There is the matter of Loki to consider,” Steve replied.
“Don’t forget this fellow,” Tony reminded, gesturing toward another unconscious man behind him. Harry and his girls followed his line of sight and their eyebrows rose in curiosity.
“Who’s that?” Harry asked Maria and Natasha who were staring at the unconscious man with eyes wide in surprise.
“Who’s that you ask?” Tony said, chuckling. “This fellow right here is none other than Brock Rumlow, one of SHIELD’s high ranking agents. Your girls there would know him.”
“He’s the STRIKE’s team field commander,” Maria whispered.
“Loki managed to get some of SHIELD’s finest as her puppets,” Barton said gravely. “Where is she, by the way?”
“She’s under my supervision,” Harry said firmly. Barton stared at Harry with pursed lips. However, Harry gave no quarter and stared back stoically. For a few seconds, the two men stared at each other until Barton relented with a sigh.
“You know Director Fury would not like this.”
“Nick can talk to me directly if he has any problem with my approach,” Harry replied calmly. He turned to Steve and Tony and nodded firmly.
“You do know what you are doing here, right?” Steve asked curtly. “This is Loki we are talking about. I hope you’ve heard about what happened in New Mexico with Thor and—”
“Steve,” Harry cut him off. “I have it under control. Trust me.”
Steve stared at Harry silently for a few seconds before he relented with a sigh.
“Alright.”
“Thanks,” Harry nodded and turned to Tony who merely raised his hands innocently.
“Nah, I don’t have any issues with you taking care of Loki. Just… keep the horniness under control. I’ve seen what you’re like with pretty women. Just saying,” Tony chuckled as Natasha and Felicia gazed at him with their eyes slightly narrowed like a cat.
“Believe me, Tony. I have no sympathy for tyrants and the only feeling I have for them is disgust. Me trying something with a tyrant is the last thing you have to worry about.”
“Didn’t worry about shit, but whatever,” Tony muttered. “So, you have things under control, eh? Guess we’re just the cleanup crew now. Would’ve liked some action but hey, arrive late to the party, get the leftovers. That’s how it’s always been. Can’t complain.”
Thunder rumbled ominously as dark clouds gathered overhead, a brilliant bolt of lightning cracking across the sky.
“Well, now that you’ve mentioned it,” Harry said softly, his gaze upward. “I guess you might be getting some action real soon.”
As if on cue, a massive bolt of lightning struck the ground a few feet away from them, blowing apart the road asphalt and sending static coursing through the air.
As the lightning dissipated, they gazed at the figure that emerged from it.
With an Asgardian helmet adorning his blonde head and a large red cape covering his back, Thor Odinson, the armored warrior prince of Asgard walked out of the lightning strike. His electric blue eyes glowed with power and he surveyed the scene he found himself in, hefting his trusted Mjolnir as he gazed at those in attendance.
“And you are…”
“Are you the one they call Harry Potter?” Thor asked, cutting Tony off. The armor-clad man pointed his finger at Harry who stood there, staring at the newcomer with a raised eyebrow, his hands clasped leisurely behind him.
“Harry Potter. I am Thor Odinson,” Thor began. “I can feel you are a being of immense power on this plane. I shall be sincere with you. I come here on Midgard, seeking my sister, the Lady Sylvia of Asgard. She was last seen in your company before vanishing. Where has she gone?”
Harry raised an eyebrow coolly. “And what proof do you have, Odinson, of your claim?”
Thor clenched his hammer firmly, unimpressed with the bravado.
“I do not hear denial in your voice, Harry Potter. I have been sincere and I expect the same from you. I shall ask again. Where is my sister?”
Everyone stared at the two behemoths of power as they stood opposite one another and they could feel the atmosphere building around them. The sky rumbled with thunder once again.
“Your sister’s situation is… complicated,” Harry replied. “She has, if you did not know already, decided to tread on a different path.”
“She has gotten herself involved with forces beyond her. The Chitauri, an army numbering in millions… someone has granted her powers beyond measure. I cannot say who but whoever it is does not have pure intentions. I am well aware of what my sister’s plans are for Midgard and you have my word as a warrior and heir to the throne of Asgard that I would do everything in my power to stop her. That is the reason behind my arrival here in Midgard. I shall take my sister back to Asgard where she shall answer to the Allfather himself.”
“Well, we can’t agree to that,” Felicia said telepathically.
Harry stared Thor down, the God of Thunder gazing back impassively.
“I’m afraid that is not possible,” he said firmly. “Sylvia is under my supervision and she won’t be going anywhere.”
Thor’s eyes flashed, his grip on Mjolnir tightening. His voice took on a growl as he responded, “I believe I did not make myself clear. I was not asking, Harry Potter. She is my sister and you are to hand her over, right this instant.”
Harry gazed back with an unimpressed arch of his brow.
“Don’t think for even a second that you can order me around, Odinson,” he glared. “And you might be her brother but that does not give you the right to take someone who has wronged our realm and deal with her as per Asgardian customs. She has slighted us and she will face justice here.”
“I’m afraid we’re at an impasse then,” Thor whispered dangerously.
The air was thick with tension. Thunder rumbled overhead and the air around them crackled with static electricity as Thor’s eyes glowed with lightning.
Before anyone could react, he shot forward, grabbing Harry by the collar and slamming him against the ground. Dust kicked up and as it dissipated, Thor’s eyes widened when he saw there was no sign of Harry Potter in his grasp.
He was suddenly sent toppling over as a glowing fist appeared right in front of him and hit him square in the jugular. Thor quickly rose to his feet just as Harry appeared in front of him, entirely unscathed.
“So you are a trickster like her, huh?” Thor asked with a smirk. “No wonder you’re the first male she deemed good enough for her.”
“You really don’t know your sister all that well,” Harry replied. Thor’s eyes narrowed and he lifted Mjolnir, commanding the heavens and a mighty bolt of lightning rained all around Harry who conjured a powerful golden shield to repel everything.
His eyes widened when a powerful bolt slammed heavily against his shield, resulting in a loud gong and the shield shattered into thousands of small fragments, scattering all around him. He quickly turned himself invisible and the lightning phased through him.
“Fight me like a warrior, Potter!” Thor shouted.
“Think we should help him out?” Steve asked from the sidelines.
“No need,” Felicia said with a confident smirk. “He’s got everything under control.”
“Well, he did say we might be fighting soon,” Tony remarked and without waiting for anyone, he shot forward and fired a powerful energy blast right at Thor who swatted it away with Mjolnir. Without turning around, the God of Thunder threw his hammer straight at Tony whose eyes widened. The hammer collided with the front of his suit and sent him flying into the distance. Thor raised his hand and the hammer returned to him like a trusted ally.
“I would advise you to not get involved,” Thor warned, his eyes trained on Harry who emerged from the charred ground where the lightning storm had just rained down.
“It doesn’t have to be like this, Odinson,” Harry warned.
“I’m afraid it does, Potter. Your refusal to return my sister, a princess of Asgard, constitutes as an act of war and as the heir to the throne, it is my duty to ensure her safe passage and due justice to be carried out.”
“A war your sister started,” Steve said firmly. Thor glanced over at the man and nodded.
“And she will face Asgardian justice for it.”
Harry sighed and steadied himself, taking up a stance. “You’re not having her, Odinson.”
“We will see,” Thor said. His eyes narrowed and he hurled Mjolnir toward Harry. The mythical hammer tunneled through the air at blistering speed and Harry swerved out of the way. He was further surprised when the hammer changed its trajectory and followed him.
Conjuring a powerful golden shield once again, Harry intercepted the hammer, only for the shield to shatter once again. The hammer changed its path again, returning to its wielder.
“Quite a handy tool you got there,” Harry remarked and a vein popped in Thor’s head.
Harry swept his hand in an arc and gouts of white-hot fiery whips corkscrewed toward the Asgardian who rotated Mjolnir at a ferocious pace. A vortex formed right in front of him, absorbing and dissipating the rushing flames as it glowed with intense heat.
Thor let out a bellow and with a mighty thrust, he sent the flaming vortex straight at Harry who gazed back intensely and fired a powerful blasting curse that hit the vortex right in the middle, exploding the unstable flurry of inferno.
Thor followed up quickly, summoning a maelstrom of lightning from the rumbling thunderclouds overhead, and jagged bolts of electricity converged on Harry once again.
Away from the battle, the others watched in fascination and disbelief as the two behemoths of power battled each other like the warriors they were. Bushes and trees had disintegrated from spellfire and lightning blasts and they were hard on damage control, doing their best to keep the radius of their battle to a manageable level.
“Couldn’t they do this away from the city?” Steve grunted.

The God of Thunder came to his senses when he heard a loud crack and he watched in disbelief as fissures appeared on Mjolnir’s surface as Harry’s magic overwhelmed Mjolnir’s imbued enchantments. “Odinson,” Harry called out firmly. “I have no quarrel with you or Asgard. Sylvia is under my supervision and will remain as such for the foreseeable future. I implore you to understand and not make any further rash decisions.”
Thor could only stare at Harry as he waved his hand in intricate motions. Everyone stared, shocked, as all the destruction reversed within seconds. His job done, Harry went back to the others.
“Looks like we’re done here,” Barton remarked, casting an eye around. “Impressive.”
“We’ll be leaving now,” Harry said, standing with his girls.
“I think I should be reporting about everything to Director Fury,” Maria said softly.
Harry gazed at her and smiled as he nodded in understanding.
“Alright.”
Steve gave him a respectful nod. “We will take this man back with us. See you soon, Harry.”
Harry smiled at Steve and nodded. They watched as he vanished with Felicia and Natasha and Tony could not help but let out a sigh.
“That guy just destroyed a demigod’s mythical weapon. This magic thing of his is quite handy,” he remarked.
“Don’t think too much on it, Stark,” Maria replied as they began walking toward the Quinjet. “Just be grateful that he’s a good man.”
