“Just as I’m sure she won’t like you with someone else.”
Tony sighed.
“How’s it work for you then? You bang and then they go and bang others when you’re not there?”
“Not a chance,” Harry snorted. “They’re with me only.”

He was curious about what a mix of science and magic would be like. Already he had supplied Helen with enough healing knowledge and the last he had heard from him, the tests were progressing nicely. If it somehow helped the people in need then how could he be anything but happy about it?
However, that would mean he would be attracting negative attention from the pharmaceutical cartels. After all, their entire industry would be under threat, and it was common knowledge that they were some of the most powerful people on the planet. One didn’t make an enemy out of them willingly.
‘I’ll see to it when the time comes.’
“Sure you are,” Tony chuckled. “By the way, I don’t know if you heard, but there’s been some development up north.”
“What kind?”
“A certain frozen soldier from the Second World War’s been found alive.”
“Ah, Steve Rogers, you mean.”
“You knew?” Tony asked in surprise. Harry simply chuckled.
“When your girlfriends are SHIELD agents and doctors, it’s easy to get info.”
The loud screeching of tires was followed by an abrupt stop as Tony turned to look at him in shock.
“What the fuck, Potter! You’re fucking SHIELD agents!?”
“Don’t be so crass,” Harry rolled his eyes before he grinned. “But yeah.”
The man simply stared at him in shock for a long moment and Harry decided to give him a little something else.
“You’ve met one of them already. Pretty redhead with a body to kill for. Ring a bell?”
“The fucking Black Widow!?”
Harry chuckled at another disbelieving look shot toward him.
“The one and only,” he replied and he could not help but feel a little smug at the fact that he was the one taking Natasha Romanoff in every way imaginable. He already knew, but the look on the man’s face was further proof that what a big deal it was.
“For the first time in my life, I don’t have any words,” Tony muttered as he revved up the engine again. The car shot forward, slowly catching up to the breakneck speed it had been on before the little interruption. “You lucky bastard…”
Harry laughed.

Coincidentally, the interstate highway they were on took them directly to the northern edge of the Mojave Desert where SHIELD was conducting experiments on this Tesseract he had heard about. No one knew what it truly was, although Harry had deduced that it was an Infinity Stone when Maria told him about it.
They had left Las Vegas an hour ago. The man with him had wanted to pay a visit to a few spots he used to frequent but one reminder of dear Miss Potts was enough to make him abandon that idea, much to Harry’s amusement.
They had just passed the Halloran Springs when they heard a loud explosion in the distance. Tony immediately slammed the brakes, making the tires screech and the car drift off the road.
“What the fuck was that!?”
Before Harry could reply, they heard the sound of footsteps rushing toward them. His eyes widened when he saw the fading golden glow that signaled the arrival of one of his girlfriends when using the teleportation perk of his mark.
Harry immediately pushed the door open and climbed out of the car, and his eyes widened at the sight of a bruised Maria as she rushed over to him. He took her in his arms, holding her closer before he pulled her back, holding her at arm’s length and checking her over for any injuries. The few bruises were taken care of by a quick wave of his hand and Harry felt Tony rush toward them.
“You’re Fury’s sidekick!” The man exclaimed as he took one look at Maria before he abruptly turned toward Harry. “You’re fucking Fury’s sidekick!?”
“Not the time, man,” Harry hissed before looking at Maria in concern. “What happened, love?”
Maria exhaled harshly and looked at him with a tired smile.
“The facility was attacked and it’s totally demolished. Barton has turned and the Tesseract has been stolen. Looks like you were right, baby. We messed up with the wrong powers here.”
Harry’s eyes widened.

Why do you do this to me? Another cliffhanger in an amazing story. And of course no update until the 8th lol. All complaints aside a seriously good chapter that has me wanting more.
