Three companies were backing Kazir at this moment. It was amazing that Kazir signed a business deal with Warner Brothers before the scandal blew up. Perhaps Kazir already had an inkling that this situation would happen.
Warner Brothers could not pass the chance to make money. Kazir's profitability was obvious. If the director took over the position of director and filmed the Dark Knight Trilogy, then Warner Brothers would rake in massive money.
With great consistency, Warner Brothers knew that Kazir would also provide them with a huge amount of profit. The director never failed to do so.
As for Sony-Columbia, Kazir was still working on Spider-Man 2 and they didn't want any mishap. So they have to protect Kazir's reputation at all costs.
Kazir already finished the post-production, it might need a few tinkering but the movie was complete overall.
His name was connected to Spider-Man 2 and this incident could affect the outcome of the movie.
Being part of the 20th Century Fox, Kazir naturally received protection from the company. Heck, he just sold three of his scripts to Century Fox as a protection fee...
Anyway, he was an important person so he would be protected.
The three companies decided to work together to stop these false allegations.
Since the allegations were about Kazir's "bad behavior", the three studios immediately found a way to stop the false allegations.
News and rumors about Kazir's "rapey" stuff on female actresses were spreading.
To fix that, they just have to interview the actresses in question. Kazir's filmography was famous, they could easily list every actress that Kazir worked with.
The studios asked the actresses, some using formal interviews while others used paparazzi style, such as what happened to Reese Witherspoon. Formal interviews usually have prepared questions and the actresses won't be surprised.
But street interviews were different. The reporters would literally follow the actresses and ask them, sometimes the questions were stupid, personal, offensive, invasive, outlandish, and repetitive.
This kind of question is usually used to upset the actresses to show their emotions. So many actors experienced horrible interviewers.
Oprah asked about Mary Kate Olsen's eating disorder, making the actress uncomfortable in the situation. Oprah even asked about her weight, making fun of her. At that time, Mary Kate Olsen was still a minor by the way.
Ellen DeGeneres offered Mariah Carey to drink a champagne in an interview... By the way, there was a rumor that Mariah Carey was pregnant at that time.
Reporters, paparazzi, and even talk show hosts, they would do everything just to get the stories they wanted to get.
The news was broadcast by the three studios and the interviews of many actresses caught the attention of the people.
Reese Witherspoon said that Kazir was innocent.
Brianna Evans also said the same thing.
Cameron Diaz said that Kazir was a nice person. He always treated her right.
Even Angelina Jolie, Kazir's current girlfriend showed up in an interview to make things clear.
They all testified that Kazir was not the person the media painted him to be.
Kirsten Dunst and Keira Knightley also appeared in an interview and said that Kazir was never bad on the set. He was always calm and collected, rarely raising his voice.
These interviews showed another side of the scandal and divided the opinion of the people. Some believed that Kazir was a bad person while others believed that Kazir was a good person.
Universal Pictures and Walt Disney tried their best. They said that the actresses were paid and they should tell the truth.
Well, if this scandal continued, even the actresses might file a lawsuit against the two studios because of defamation.
After all, the two studios were technically saying that these actresses sold their bodies just to be part of the movies. It was the most degrading thing that could happen to an actress.
They have to maintain their image.
The two sides kept throwing news against each other. Universal Pictures and Walt Disney were at a disadvantage because the battle was 2 versus 3. Furthermore, it was also true that Kazir was never a bad person. They were just trying to destroy his reputation.
It didn't matter if the news was real as long as people believed so. Michael Jackson and Johnny Depp experienced the same thing and their career took a nose dive for a few years because of that. That was Universal Pictures and Walt Disney's intention.
However, the battle ended when the slowly breaking balance vanished.
Paramount Pictures, a studio that was neutral regarding the situation decided to take a move.
Paramount Network decided to side with Kazir Grey! The equilibrium disappeared and Universal Pictures and Walt Disney's momentum stopped. They couldn't maintain it any longer.
The two studios stopped attacking Kazir. There was no reason to keep doing it. As long as cracks formed in Kazir's reputation, then their mission was done.
In this case, Kazir Grey was the one who took most of the damage. He could still file a lawsuit though. Although the two studios might have to postpone the case. They have the power to do so.
Well, at least, news about Kazir's scandal stopped showing up. The damage was done, and Kazir had to face to consequences.
Being a talented person was never a good thing. A lot of people would become jealous, hoping to see your downfall.
Just like what Kazir did to 20th Century Fox to fix their relationship, he also offered Paramount Pictures the same treatment.
Nothing was more enticing than his library of scripts. In exchange for helping him, Paramount Pictures received Clash Of The Titans. Kazir said that this movie had the potential to be a trilogy. This made Paramount Pictures accept the deal, knowing Kazir's ability.
This business deal was probably one of the easiest ones that Kazir did. After all, he had a lot of scripts to sell.
