Kazir announced that the filming for today was over. The cast was very happy and so were the crew members. They packed their belongings, planning to return to their places or the hotels that they rented near the studio.
Tobey Maguire politely bid his goodbye... Kazir felt like this actor changed somehow. Tobey still looked the same but his outlook in life changed after the small charity that they did last month. In fact, Tobey personally joined the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help children in need.
Kazir and Sony-Colombia obviously supported his intention because it could help them promote the movie.
[Tobey, a hero even in real life!]
This kind of headline could be seen in many newspapers. Of course, Sony-Colombia was partly responsible for that.
After that, Kirsten Dunst also bid farewell to Kazir. This actress also changed after what happened last time at the celebration party for Spider-Man. Kirsten seemed humble, but it was clear that she didn't like the set. She was only here for the money and the trilogy contract that she signed. Kirsten was not comfortable in the set because of a certain person.
'It seemed that Jezebel didn't change at all. She still has a prejudice against women.'
Kazir thought to himself. However, Kazir was a director known for his efficiency. As long as the project was going smoothly, he had no problem keeping the status quo.
The director also left the studio but he didn't go straight to his house in Beverly Hills. Angelina was not in the house anyway.
'Now that I think about it, Angelina is getting busier lately. We don't have any time to talk at all... I feel like she's avoiding me.'
Kazir was in deep thought.
Anderson, Kazir's bodyguard, sensed that Kazir was thinking about something so he decided to lower the volume of the radio. Next to Anderson was Erica who was currently texting her twins to not stay up all night.
After Kazir hired Anderson, Erica Mendez became a full-time assistant. Her job slightly alleviated but she was still busy... She couldn't help it. Her boss was busy so she also had to work hard.
The three were quiet inside the car, waiting to reach their destination.
A few minutes later, the car stopped in front of a building. It was the headquarters of CAA. Unlike WMA that have two headquarters, one in Los Angeles and one in New York, CAA's foundation was set in Hollywood.
WMA was a talent agency, but its services were wide. Their clients ranged from athletes, models, directors, and actors. They have deeper roots because WMA was founded before CAA. After all, Michael Ovits was once an agent from WMA.
Of course, CAA also has clients from different industries such as sports and modeling. But its major business lies in Hollywood. Because CAA was a talent agency created to accommodate actors, directors, and many professions related to Showbiz. It has a clear vision.
The reason why Kazir went to CAA this time was because of Salvatore. Kazir didn't know the specifics but it seemed the internal conflict in CAA was intensifying.
Anderson parked the car while Erica and Kazir entered the building. The reception greeted them warmly, despite the late-hour visit... It was already 10 pm.
The two entered the elevator and reached the floor where Salvatore's office resides.
Unexpectedly, Kazir saw Scarlett Johansson talking to someone.
"Yeah, I also can't believe an untalented woman like her will be cast into a mid-budget movie-- Hm? What are you doing here?" Scarlett stopped talking midway when she realized that Director Grey had come out of the elevator.
"I should be the one asking you that. I thought you were promoting your movie internationally?"
"That was one month ago." Scarlett clicked her tongue.
Scarlett Johansson got a huge role in Lost In Translation. The movie only had a $4 million budget but it grossed more than $100 million. Because of this, Scarlett's acting career was recognized by the industry.
"By the way, congratulations on your movie." Kazir praised her.
"Of course, we are talking about me here," Scarlett smirked. She suddenly realized something.
"Oh, this is actually Sofia Coppola. She's the director of Lost In Translation."
"Of course, nice to meet you Mis Sofia."
"Nice to meet you too."
Sofia Coppola was a well-known personality in Hollywood. Well, if your father was none other than Francis Ford Coppola, the director of The Godfather, it would be hard not to recognize her.
"I'm a fan of your Dad."
"That's nice to hear."
Kazir then glanced at Scarlett and narrowed his gaze.
"Now that I think of it, you..."
"What?" Scarlett was curious.
"You look taller now."
Kazir continued.
"Of course I'm taller! I'm 20 years old now. What do you think, I'm cute right?" Scarlett teased the director.
"Hehe. Cute my ass." Kazir chuckled.
"This guy... Anyway, I heard that your devil of a half-sister got a role."
Remembering the news, Scarlett's mood turned downhill. Scarlett and Mara had been enemies from the moment they met.
Mara actively competes against Scarlett to get roles, but Scarlett always wins in the end. Making Mara livid as fuck. However, Mara's modeling life seemed promising.
"What are you talking about?"
When Kazir heard what Scarlett said, he was confused as this was the first he heard about it.
Looked like his half-sister successfully found a role this time.
"I guess you don't know it, huh? And I thought you were the one who helped her get the role. I heard it's a movie about zombies, I don't know the specifics though."
"A zombie movie?"
Kazir had a few movies in his mind such as Resident Evil, Zombieland, I Am Legend, and Dawn Of The Dead.
'Perhaps it's a small-budget horror movie... Wait a minute, isn't Dawn Of The Dead directed by Zack Snyder?'
Kazir recalled the complicated emotions that Zack Snyder had when they met last time. It seemed that Universal Pictures wanted to hire Zack Snyder to direct this zombie movie.

I read your comment very seriously, I post something at the end of chapter 395 to fix that. I'll repost the poll tomorrow to give new patrons the chance to vote.
Rodolfo Xavier Pena Valladares
Honestly, I couldn't vote for just staying with Angelina, since I wasn't here when the poll when up, and it wouldn't have made a difference, but God you guys picked perhaps the worse option, and at least some of the options in the poll we hadn't seen all that much like Connelly and Beckinsale so they could have been at least likeable rather the entitled brat that scarjo is presented, also if you guys say that she just has to mature we already went throught with jolie why the fuck are we repeating it. Idk maybe I'm just salty I couldn't vote and debate about it

Why do people like Scarlett? The entire time she has appeared in this novel she has been insufferable
Pujimaki
I never watched this movie so I'm not sure if Kazir can film it. I'm sorry.

Someone's getting tired of Angelina...
Simonki
Kazir could make zombieland and cast Scarlett Johansson as Wichita
Ryan biggins
Finally! Get rid of Angelina and hello scarlet
