Grief and the Tree of Life
🕑 Added 2024-05-14 02:43:31 +0000 UTCYesterday, at around 4 in the afternoon, my Nana left this Earth. She was an incredible human being, volunteering for decades, and helped combat the AIDS crisis. She's a one of a kind human being, and no longer here with us today. The last person I really looked up to. đ
I dedicate this Tree of Life to her. A McGill, and the Matriarch of the family. Rest in Peace and Strength.
Unfortunately there is no Funeral or wake... her kids are already planning on selling the house... and everything feels sudden.
I am grateful for the good she put into my life.
That said... I'm processing a lot, and trying my best. Please be patient with me, and I hope to see you in 11 days. And kindly enjoy this small preview of what I worked on today...

I know I'm very belated with my condolences, but you are no less significant in my thoughts. Long distance hugz. Peace and love to you and those to whom your Nana was special.
