The book isn't really directly useful so much as a silly item for exploring the game's content a little more directly. You can put in a number (anything above 110 or so won't get anything) and you'll flip to some part of the game instantly. Keep in mind it can be very easy to break the game and have to load a save like that, though ^.^;

Could you explain how do I use "book" item in cheat enabled version? what are inputs?
