Monthly Mini-Update for July!
🕑 Added 2019-08-01 05:46:43 +0000 UTCPretty last minute with this one! Sorry about that, it's been pretty intense getting all the pieces put together in something approaching a working fashion. There may still be some bugs, but it should be working!
So, there are two big notes I should drop for you guys before you play this version. First: this is an incomplete version of what is basically The Climax Of The Game, and it's missing a lot of stuff that will hopefully make the final experience much more meaningful and enjoyable. I think you'll still get a kick out of it, but not as much as if you wait. There are a few different layers to that, but the big one is made up by my second point.
The second note is: this is going to play really weird for you and pretend you've done a lot of things you haven't! The final version of this section is going to be pretty personalized to your game file, but I try to make all or most of the content readily available through the Diamond Door without too much work, so in this case, basically it just takes you through everything in one go, even though some of those scenes contradict each other.
So this is gonna be pretty weird! And it may play with your emotions in a different way than intended playing like this, but if you're dying to see what the ending will be like... well, this is the first 2/3 of it or so. Actually, this MMU may be more interesting to play after you've played through the final version for yourself, so you can see "all the possibilities" without having to mess with your save file too much.
Now! With all the warnings and such out of the way, let's lay out the basics. v0.42 is going to be the Final Endings update! The main storyline is all leading to this point, and if you go through the Diamond Door now, you'll get to experience a whole bunch of the Climactic Problems without any of the Resolution that comes with a full ending.
If you're new to the MMUs, this is the Post-Release MMU, meaning that the content is available through the Diamond Door, which you can find along with the other Doors. Cheats are turned on, so you can access the doors quickly enough by giving yourself a collar if need be.
I think that's all the important info covered. This has been a really intense process getting all this written up and assembled, but I'm hoping the payoff will be worth it, and you guys will enjoy the final product! Thanks so much for your support!
