Oh gosh let's put a cat's face in this game
🕑 Added 2017-07-02 01:10:07 +0000 UTCAlright! I didn't want to say much when it was still up in the air, but we managed to squeeze it in! I've been working very closely with Mz Nite on this project, and we finally have the base set of pieces to replace Lith's old portrait with professional art! I'm sorry it's taken so long. I really wanted to make sure that if I asked an artist to put this much work in, that they'd be able to make Lith look right-- that I could finally be happy with his appearance, since this is the portrait you're looking at the entire time you're playing the game.
It's taken a lot of back and forth, but I'm finally happy with Lith's look here. I believe this is the final portrait for Lith, though we're already talking about the possibility of extra pieces later to make this portrait more active and responsive to what's happening in the game. I've got a lot on my wishlist, so we'll have to see what we can pull off!
The bad news is, I tend to not have very much time on my weekends, and I've been pushing all that I can on this, but it looks like it won't be done today. I'm hoping to release the new version, with the new portrait working just the same as the old one did, tomorrow! But if it takes longer, then I think I'm going to make the new release wait, as I don't want to wait another two months to get this new face out there for everyone.
