Death Smiles w/ Josh
🕑 Added 2019-02-25 18:22:23 +0000 UTCA customer (thank you!) requested an old print of Josh from the "Death Smiles" body painting, so I thought I'd share a few more from way back then! Sometimes it doesn't feel like I've been painting that long, but this was from 2013! I believe I was using Ben Nye cream based paints (which I miss using from time to time). The models don't miss washing it off though!
I'm open to exploring some of my older projects, if you guys would like to see more photos from then. Have a particular project in mind? Let me know! TAROT is coming soon, so there will be lots of new content to share as well.

What was it about the Ben Nye paints that worked better for you as the artist?

That's really good feedback! I tried keeping the prosthetics light in Neon City. I usually alternate between heavy prosthetics, heavy designs, and lighter, breathable art.

What I like about your older paintings is the utter lack of prosthetics. It really lets the design and paint shine through.

Interestingly enough, this was an old co-worker of mine! I had just started out. This was probably in one of my first ten paintings!
Really interesting, the biceps enhancement was really pretty cool. It is the fireworks I noticed that particular element. You seem to be more detailed work currently being I am not all that with much of your older work.
