The different position and expression changes the entire mood of the creation. And I like both. One seems to radiate power and self assuredness while the other shows a questioning empathy.

I really love the golden apple, too, as a prop. It’s hard not to read Eris’s own contributions (e.g. Paris, the rape of Helen, etc) into the image now—as greed and war are so intertwined. Was there an apple in Midas’s story, too?
