TW Update #26: But Wait, There's More!
🕑 Added 2022-01-26 21:32:56 +0000 UTCThe lines have gone backwards?! What's going on?!
Well, some nice things!
I came to something of a decision regarding a male/female split in the game.
Simply put, I was having problems with Keller gender-swapping at the start, as a lot of what I want to get into with Keller's issues are particularly male-orientated, and wouldn't make sense just to slap onto a female role, and it started turning into a messy opening as a result.
So, naturally, I decided if there is going to be a female perspective, we're going to do it properly. So we'll be following Catherine Adair for that side of the coin, who has a much different journey than Keller does, and different problems.
But you know, you get a little bit of Azula Instruction Exposure too, so that's nice. :)
It should be said though that her path is not primarily about this, and truly starts post Azula's evaluation, and, indeed, isn't much about Instruction at all. Well, maybe a tad. But mostly not.
Anyway, the scope of this same has expanded, a couple more CG's, around 3/4 more character models. Complicated stuffs.
I almost managed to get a text version of this to play through for y'all but some background stuff wasn't functioning right and to be honest you'd probably enjoy the finished scene more. I also added a little bit of additional time beyond the normal due to some irl things I'm involved in that have been consuming my evenings, and is gonna get worse before it gets better.
Attached are just a couple of L-D19 animation samples as I start going through the ticklist of the various expressions I want her to have. I suppose as Azula is getting a larger role I might have to expand her model expressions too; we'll have to see. But at any rate I'm not looking to do too much afore this release.
Anyway, enjoy!
