Gladiator Thrallopedia: Commission Slots CLOSED!
🕑 Added 2022-01-23 20:58:31 +0000 UTCGladiators are unique in all thrall models in that they...finite. Built into their nature is the idea that they will- if they lose in the wrong arena- cease to become Gladiators, and instead become Drones; another product far removed from the more creative and personable creature they were before.
To own a Gladiator, to be their Patron, says much about a person. Mad or romantic? Well, that's for them to say...
Yay, hooray, everyones favourite model is here! :D
And this time, the offerings will be a little different...but still very similar. Lets go through them one at a time.
Thrallopedia Entry
Price: £40
SLOT TAKEN Slot 1- Stage 1: A regular skintight thrallsuit, instruction just beginning, often unsure.
SLOT TAKEN Slot 2- Stage 2: Still in a regular thrallsuit, but more confident now, happier, and perhaps with some early changes.
SLOT TAKEN Slot 3- Stage 3: Gladiator outfit, getting used to their new abilities, more stoic-seeming.
SLOT TAKEN Slot 4- Stage 4: Thoroughly instructed, ready to go!
SLOT TAKEN Slot 5- Bonus Slot: Any one of the above!
You get:
- A Thrallopedia page!
- An Instructor Log covering a part of their training! (You can choose whether they have a hard or easy time with them!)
- A discount code to download the eventual Gladiator set for free!
Process:
- We agree on the thrall, their designation, Log notes etc.
- I draft up the rough pose & 3 different outfits & colourschemes to send you.
- You pick 1 outfit and 1 scheme (You can swap schemes) and I will draw that model!
- You also get 1 round of editing for the Instructor Log! Happy days.
In addition to these fine offerings, there are also two other slots:
Front Page - SLOT TAKEN!!
It's the front page of the thing! :D
The content of the image will display a certain stage of the thrall's instruction, alongside 1 other cultivated thrall. The particular activity will be up to me to decide, though I may give you an option or two on particular scenarios, or things like gags/designation placement, etc.
The price for this slot is:
- +£30 on top of your Thrallopedia entry, if you're also buying one.
- Or £70 as a standalone image.
This slot is time-sensitive, and will default to the Overview character if not taken.
Harvested vs. Cultivated - SLOT TAKEN!!!
Price: £50
Another Thrallopedia page-splash similar to 'What is a Thrall?'...well, at least in purpose for being a comfy background image.
Unlike 'What is a Thrall?' though I've a clear idea of how this one will look.
Image concept:
The opening image will be a harvested thrall and a cultivated thrall standing back to back, and when you click on one half or the other (or maybe just in the background naturally) it opens up into an image of the Harvested thrall being in a captured state/getting captured/trapped up in T-H Nanites, or on the cultivated side, them chilling in their cultivation tank.
What you get for picking this slot:
- You choose the thrall material for the Harvested thrall
- You get to choose the thrall model for both thralls (same model for both, just to keep the 'mirrored' concept).
- You get to decide on the circumstances of the material's capture (whether peaceful/already fully caught, fighting against it, etc.
That's pretty decent bang for buck there, right?
Gumroad Pack Exclusives
As I noted with my recent Secretary post though, I've been concerned about the Gumroad Sets as these get added to the game, and so, on top of these things being added...
Gumroad Set purchasers will also get:
- Speedpaintings of each Thrallpedia entry
- Inclusion of the rough alt.outfits that the commissioners didn't opt for (and colour schemes)
- Sketches of various bits of the intruction process/small moments, featuring the thrall models in the set,
- A short story (1000+ words) featuring the thrall in the overview (in this case, Noi!)
- A CG similar to the Azula Pet CG's featuring the Overview character.
Though some of this (such as the speedpaints) I can't retroactively add into the already existing sets, some stuff I do plan on adding into those. Overall though, I think what'll turn up in these will be pretty neat!
Hmm, what else?
Commission/Project Calendar
Spent a decent amount of time lately counting the beans and tallying up the amount of time it takes to do commissions and work on projects, and currently here's my (tentative) list on what you can expect.
- Jan: Commission - Gladiator Thrallopedia Set
- Feb: Project - Febuony (Ponygame)
- Mar: Commission - Praetorian Thrallopedia Set
- Apr: Project - Volition...ril? (It's Volition)
- May: Commission - Domine Thrallopedia Set
- Jun: Project - Juony (Doing well with these pun names huh)
- Jul: Commission - Dossiers and Other
- Aug: Project - Hoovergust (Working on backlog stuff- drones etc.)
- Sep: Commission - Noble Thrallopedia Set
- Oct: Project - ????
- Nov: Commission - Dancer Thrallopedia Set
- Dec: Project - ????
I may/will amend this in future posts no doubt, but likely more on the project side of things.
The main problem is that- at a conservative estimate- it takes me around a month to complete one of these thrallopedia sets while still outputting a sensible amount of regular TW work and maintaining whatever my medium project (currently the Moov CYOA) is. So this should provide a nice on/off balance of deep-diving on the work that needs a deep dive when we can.
Alright, that's all for now- in a couple of days these commissions will open up to the public, so get 'em while they're hot!
Enjoy!
