This would definitely be a good show to continue on stream. there are so many moments when I wished I was in the chat. To sum up I enjoyed it. It does feel like they're kind of putting a new theme over the basic SMTM format but I think it works. I'm actually interested to see the survival elements of the show with these blocks. I know we didn't see them all but something about the 60 contestants also felt a little bit more refined with not as many joke rappers in there. I did scream a little bit when Daniel Jikal unmasked. He was one of my absolute favorite contestants on Loud and I was pretty devastated when he didn't make it but I think this is the better route for him than being an idol. I don't really think he'll win against some of the other competition based on rap alone but who knows since I don't know how this show format with the blocks works. With these types of shows I'm actually not super invested in who wins as long as there are good performances along the way.
