Chapter 262: Another Type of Soul Beast Contract
🕑 Added 2025-04-11 08:52:44 +0000 UTC
The entire Sunset Forest was filled with a sea of vitality formed by green light spots.
In fact, what Ye Cheng did at this time was equivalent to infusing the cultivation of countless plants in the Sunset Forest into the Blue Silver Emperor to help it grow quickly.
Of course, he was not destroying the forest by doing this, because the life energy absorbed from these plants was only a tiny fraction of their own energy. With this little energy, it can be almost replenished by basking in the sun.
The energy contributed by a plant is of course nothing, but when the life energy contributed by thousands of plants in the entire forest is condensed together, it is extremely huge!
Under the infusion of this surging sea of vitality, the plants of the Blue Silver Emperor changed at a speed visible to the naked eye, and the huge grass leaves quickly extended to every corner of the basin around the Yin-Yang Eye of Ice and Fire.
Ye Cheng watched quietly, and through his divine sense, he could feel that the energy of this Blue Silver Emperor was rapidly increasing, just like a person who had been thirsty for several days in the desert, absorbing the vast sea of life energy like crazy. Its age is also rising!
Hundred years, thousand years, ten thousand years!
In just half an hour, it has changed from a soul beast that was less than a hundred years old to a ten thousand year old blue silver grass.
And this is not its end.
There are still vitality points coming from all directions, gradually forming a vortex above the Blue Silver Emperor, as if all rivers return to their source, pouring into its body… to help her cultivation.
Another two hours passed.
At this time, the appearance of the Blue Silver Emperor has changed greatly. The body has increased by hundreds of times, and every blade of grass is stretching in the valley… The age has reached more than 99,000 years, close to 100,000 years.
And those vitality points that came from all directions, in the consumption of these few hours, there are not many left. Originally, almost the entire forest was covered by green light points, like an ocean. Now only around the Yin-Yang Eye of Ice and Fire, there are still a lot of vitality points left.
”These remaining ones should be about the same.”
Ye Cheng, who had been using his divine sense to observe the growth of the Blue Silver Emperor, naturally knew how much it was still short before it could truly become a 100,000-year soul beast. After an estimate, he stopped extracting vitality from the plants in the forest.
A moment later.
At this time, the Blue Silver Emperor had a new change. Its huge blades of grass were no longer scattered, but were completely gathered together. Each blade of grass not only contained a huge amount of Blue Silver Emperor energy, but also had a part of Ye Cheng’s divine power.
The blades of the Blue Silver Emperor had completely turned golden at this time, standing up and condensing into a large cocoon with a diameter of ten meters. The golden light was transparent and shining, and the huge energy fluctuations were completely contained in the blades.
Ye Cheng saw this scene and understood that this was a sign of the soul beast’s evolution of 100,000 years. When the Blue Silver Emperor breaks out of the cocoon, she will return to the 100,000-year level. At the same time, in this large cocoon formed by her body energy, she will face two choices.
One is to transform into a human and start practicing from scratch.
The other is to continue to be a powerful 100,000-year soul beast and need to experience a heavenly tribulation. After reaching 200,000 years, it can transform into a fierce beast, and can also transform into a human form.
”What’s the point of transforming into a human? Does this soul beast’s transformation count as transformation?” Ye Cheng shook his head. In his opinion, the transformation of soul beasts into humans in this world is completely different from the transformation of monsters into humans. This is a trap set by the gods in the Divine Realm for soul beasts.
In this world, there is no future for soul beasts to transform into humans, because no god dares to pass the throne to a soul beast that has transformed into a human. Therefore, even if there are soul beasts with extraordinary talents, they can cultivate to a state close to that of a god after transforming into a human form. In the absence of a god’s throne, they are destined not to become gods, and will only die in the end.
Moreover, after soul beasts transform into humans, they cannot take the path of a divine ring master. Because they cannot break their rings and rebuild. For normal soul masters, breaking their rings will at most cause them to suffer serious damage to their vitality, because the soul rings on them are taken from soul beasts after all, not condensed by themselves.
But soul beasts are different. Soul beasts that transform into humans have their first six soul rings condensed by themselves, and only from the seventh onwards, they will obtain soul rings by hunting soul beasts like normal soul masters. In other words, these six soul rings are condensed from the soul beast’s own origin. Once these six soul rings are broken, the soul beast will not only suffer a serious injury to its vitality, but will also hurt its own origin.
What they do is equivalent to self-mutilation, cutting off their own hands and feet, or cutting off some important organs, leaving themselves with irreparable defects!
In such a situation, even if the soul beast that has transformed into a human is practicing the Ring Condensation Method, don’t dream of how high it can be cultivated. Because it has defects and is incomplete, it is destined to be unable to cultivate to a higher level. Unless there is a way to make up for this defect.
Because of this, in Ye Cheng’s view, soul beasts that have transformed into humans have no future. Unless they can follow the path of traditional soul masters, and are lucky enough to obtain the inheritance of a throne, they may become gods. Otherwise, the transformation of soul beasts is almost a dead end.
And the Blue Silver Emperor in front of him, because its predecessor Ah Yin has transformed into a human, when faced with these two choices, it almost subconsciously chooses to transform into a human.
But this is not allowed by Ye Cheng. After all, after all the hard work, he cultivated a vase that cannot become a god? It’s a big loss.
So after thinking for a moment, Ye Cheng had an idea in his mind. It happened that he had recently studied the soul beast contract and developed other uses of the soul beast contract. It happened to be applied to the current situation.
The original soul beast contract was a symbiotic contract. That is, a soul master signed a contract with a soul beast. As long as the contract was signed, humans and soul beasts would form a symbiotic relationship.
From then on, both sides would suffer losses together and prosper together.
When one side’s strength improved, the other side would also benefit.
Similarly, if one side was stronger than the other when the contract was signed, in order to maintain balance. Under the effect of the power of the contract, the power of the stronger side would be distributed to the weaker side, improving the other side’s strength.
Always keep both sides in a state of balance.
And if one side of the soul beast and the human died. Then although the other side would not die with it, it would be seriously injured and might even affect the foundation of cultivation.
But during this period of time, Ye Cheng, after careful research, cracked the mystery of the soul beast contract. He also developed another soul beast contract.
That is the master-slave soul beast contract!
As the name implies, although this contract is still signed between the soul master and the soul beast, the two are no longer in a symbiotic relationship. Instead, it has become a one-sided master-slave relationship.
In such a situation, both parties can still share their cultivation. However, this sharing behavior has become controllable. In other words, if the soul master, as the master, does not want to share his own cultivation with the soul beast, then even if he contracts a soul beast with a cultivation far lower than his own, it will not have any impact.
