The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 08/March/19
🕑 Added 2019-03-08 13:59:00 +0000 UTCIt's been one year since The Wayhaven Chronicles: Book One was released!!!
Time has seriously flown! :D
I'm still hoping—and on track—to get Book Two's writing done and hopefully submitted this year. As for release, that's not under my control, but fingers crossed for that too!
Also have some exciting news: With the support on Patreon blowing me away and staying relatively stable for a few months, I'm looking into dropping down my hours at work by a lot.
I'd be on Wayhaven almost full-time!
I'm going to wait a couple of months more to get some savings and see if it remains steady, but if all goes to plan then that's what will be happening!!! Ahhhhh!!!!
Thank you so much for all of your incredible support. The idea of making my dreams a reality is something I still can't even take in right now <3
As for progress this week, M's route is complete, including all personal edits and drafts!!
I actually started the love triangle route today, so am waaaay ahead of my schedule!
There is light at the end of the tunnel, hehe! :D
M's route came out at over 18,000 words. There's a lot of variation in their scene though, so that accounts for a lot of it. It should make it feel like a more personalised playthrough though, so worth it!
And almost finally, I have to announce the winner of the poll for the next character portrait...
*drum roll*
ELIDOR!
Taking the lead by quite a bit :D
Those of Swan Quill and above, keep an eye out for that popping up at some point in the future!

For Update+ this week, I thought I would share a little tale of writing M's route.
So I went to a coffee shop to work with my sister on Tuesday, which was amazing! Working from home is lovely, but you can feel very enclosed at times, so getting out was really nice.
But I was hammering away at M's route, completely on a roll, and in one of the choices you can pick for their scenes, it's the first time things get properly a little more...saucy ;D
And I'm writing away, doing great, until I realise I'm surrounded by people in the middle of a coffee shop writing this rather racy moment, LOL!!!! I don't think I've ever turned a brighter red :D
A little snippet:
My body betrays the composure I'm trying to keep as an excited shiver pulses from my stomach and all the way down to where ${m_his} hands are.
But I got the scene finished and I'm super pleased with it. Hope you guys enjoy it just as much ;)
Hope you all have the most fantastic weekend, and I'll talk to you all on Monday! :)
(I'm still waiting for quite a few replies about rewards. So if you're still waiting, then you may have an email or message on Patreon from me about it. If not, then please do get in contact and I'll sort that ASAP! It's never too late to get in touch!
I won't be around on the weekend, as I take a break from internet, but I'll send out rewards/messages as soon as I finish work on Monday!)

A whole year! That's crazy. I'm so happy for you. Wayhaven has been a hell of a ride so far and while this update made me smile, I'm also happy to hear that you'll hopefully write full time. And I know I say this a lot, but again I'm so glad to be one of the 345+ supporters to make your dream come to fruition
