Harry Potter/Venom crossover: A story where venom ends up bonding to Harry just before his third year, the story shows how their relationships grow and how happy Harry is to finally have someone he can trust in his life.
Scene 1 :
"What the fuck is wrong with me?" Harry wondered, hunched over the sink and staring into his reflection. Sweat dripped down his forehead, his normally untamable hair was somewhat flat thanks to the large amount of sweat that he had produced and his mouth was covered in blood.
Harry knew that he was hardly the sanest of beings, his first year of life (not that he could remember it) was apparently great and spent with loving parents, parents that would get murdered and that would cause him to go an abusive family that made the rest of his life miserable until he reached the magical world. Though even that came with its ups and downs, he could have easily done without being famous for not dying for example, and the constant near-death experiences and attempts on his life, he could definitely do without them.
And to make matters worse he had to return to his bloody relatives every summer, this summer had been the worst so far. Listening to his stupid aunt (the fat one) insult his parents while his uncle and other aunt continued to nod in agreement had just pissed him off beyond words. He had done his best to ignore her, of course, but even his patience had limits.
A bunch of accidental magic later and Aunt Marge ended up being as fat as the rest of the world thought she was, she had ballooned up and floated away, honestly, Harry felt like it was too good for her.
A short while later Harry had run away, it wasn't long before he stumbled upon the Knight Bus, an emergency transport service for witches and wizards, one that thankfully got him all the way to Diagon Alley so he could book a room in the Leaky Cauldron, unfortunately, that was when his problems started.
Harry had started to feel a presence in his head, he wasn't sure what it was, he wasn't sure if it was harmful, but he could feel it. There was an oddly comforting feeling to it, so Harry wasn't in full panic mode, still, he couldn't help but be a little bit worried? Who wouldn't be when detecting a sudden presence in their head?
Not to mention the rather noticeable problem with his stomach, namely the fact that it wouldn't shut up. He was eating so much that he was almost putting Ronald Weasley to shame, that wasn't even the worse part. Earlier he had been looking at a sleeping Hedwig and had actually - for a brief moment - considered eating her! The fact that the thought of eating Hedwig had even entered his brain was worrisome enough, the fact that he had actually attacked a pigeon that had made the unfortunate mistake of resting on a nearby window while Harry was still hungry.
With a speed that he previously thought he was incapable of, he had lunged forwards, grabbed the bird, and placed its head in its mouth before he snapped his teeth shut. It was the feeling of the bird's beak scratching down his neck as he swallowed that woke him up to what he was doing. He had dropped the headless bird as if it was on fire and rushed towards the bathroom before he started vomiting his lungs out into the toilet, barely managing to get the toilet seat up in time.
The fact that he had seen the undigested bird head drop out of his mouth had caused him to start another round of vomiting, not at all helped by the fact that the bird's beak had scratched his throat once on the way down and once on the way up.
Harry had closed his eyes and flushed the toilet at least three times because he did not want to risk seeing that the head and vomit were still there, he was about to open his eyes again but decided to flush it once more and walk over to the sink before he did so, which was show Harry ended up staring at the mirror, as he cleaned his mouth, wondering what on Earth was going on.
"Harry." He blinked as he looked up, sure that he had just heard someone call his name. "Over here."
Harry's gaze snapped towards the mirror and a scream escaped his mouth as he jumped back in horror upon seeing a black creature with white eyes and massively sharp teeth.
Scene 2:
"Alright, so our best chance is to sneak out at night," Harry said.
"Excellent!" Venom's voice made Harry feel like the symbiote was grinning.
"But you can't transform though."
"What?! Why?!" Venom demanded.
"Because even at night a seven-foot black mass of muscle and teeth will attract some form of attention either from Dumbledore, or any of the teachers and students that would tell Dumbledore or the creatures in the forest that would tell Hagrid who would tell Dumbledore."
"Fine," Venom growled. "we'll try a different look."
"What are you..." Harry found himself cut off as his body became covered in the usual black goo that he recognized from Venom, except this time he didn't feel his height increase, nor was he given a body bigger than a Hollywood star. The goo covered him like it was a second skin, he turned and saw his reflection staring back at him. He was black as usual, but there were no massively sharp teeth either, just a pair of white eyes. "whoa, that's cool."
"I know." Venom sounded so undeniably smug.
Scene 3:
"Give up the creature, Potter!" Umbridge shrieked, drawing her wand.
"You do not want to do this," Harry warned as he raised his hands while all the aurors pointed their wands at him.
"The creature could be corrupting his mind!" One auror yelled.
"Put on your mind protection gear!" The lead auror shouted before putting his helmet on, the helmet covered his whole head, apparently designed to protect from mental attacks. "Mask!" He yelled and the other Aurors put their masks on.
"Copy!" They yelled.
"Alright, we tried to be nice," Harry said in a resigned voice that was counteracted by the smile on his face. "MASK!" He shouted just before he felt Venom take over.
"Copy."

A.N: Hi guys, hope you liked the chapter. The 'Mask-copy' line is one of my favorite lines ever.
Just want to remind you that the test chapter is not supposed to be a quality chapter, just basically a teaser. If I do this story then I should let you know:
1) Pairing hasn't been decided but if this story is chosen then I'll post another poll on the pairing, the options would be:

* Ginny Weasley
* Fleur Delacour
* Nymphadora Tonks.
* Daphne Greengrass
2) The venom in this would be a mix of the one from live-action and spectacular spiderman, he'll be funny but will also pretty much just care about his bond with his host. He'll also be influencing Harry's emotions throughout the story.
3) This story will involve some bashing and it'll be a grey-Harry story.
Now, if people want to change their vote on the poll then feel free to do so, but I'll also be releasing more test chapters for the other options.

I had thought about that but you have to remember that Harry will still be a young boy and will at some point want to experience some level of companionship with the opposite gender. However, I do think you're right in that he doesn't necessarily have to get married and live forever after with them so I will put in a 'no pairing' option to the poll.

Yeah, I prefer this over a Harry Osborn story. Plus, does it really *have* to have a Love Interest? I could see it going well with Harry either just being friends with the Girls, or even just being totally paranoid of everyone, and only trusting Venom.

Really excited for this story, and very much looking forward to how the bond between Harry and Venom will develop. I really like the idea of Harry Potter having someone that I can wholeheartedly trust, and I will always have his back. I 100% vote for this chapter.
