Thank you very much for another awesome chapter. Really loving the story and all the different character interactions, plus, this version of Harry Potter is very interesting. Really looking forward to seeing more about his relationship with Azula as well. Regarding weapons, I personally really like the Halberd Hammer, because I think you have quite a bit a variety with that weapon. Firstly, the length of the weapon is a giant benefit and keeping distance from opponents, while allowing for attack. The weapon itself is also great, you have the hammer end for blunt attacks, the axe end for a very strong cutting attacks, and you have the spear at the point for piercing attacks. If a counterweight is added at the other end of the staff, then that is another weapon option. Another weapon option that he might choose would be the English long sword, something he might have become familiar with during his time in his old world. Another great weapon, that is relatively light compared to bigger swords. With two cutting edge is and a sharp point, there are a variety of sorts style techniques that I’m sure he could use a great advantage. If it’s a single hand English sword, then he may also have his bending available to him. Adding a fuller into the sword would also help reduce the weight, allowing for a faster handling speed. He could also be using the twin swords that Zuko was seen using as well, another deadly pair of weapons. Primarily slashing type weapons that can be used to deadly affect in conjunction with each other, as shown in the show. I’m not overly familiar with many Asian weapons myself, so I couldn’t give more than this. One of the weapons could also be a rope dart/rope javelin, A very versatile weapon that could mix well with his fluid movement fighting style. Another weapon that will allow for distance attacks, and a fairly decent weapon for slightly closer attacks as well. A great weapon for piercing damage, and if sharpened on the sides, a great slashing weapon as well. I will assume that any of the weapons he chooses/had made, will have reinforcement runes added to them, as well as any number of other magical effects. Making them unbreakable, adding elemental effects, some form of magical poison, or maybe even allowing for him to channel some of his elemental abilities like lightning. One thing I’d rather hope for the weapons, is that they are constructed using a Damascus pattern, I personally prefer the mosaic Damascus pattern. Thank's for the new chapter. I have to agree with Erinnyes here, while I really, really, want someone to smak some sense into his bald head, this reaction it's within his character. Not only is he a child that lived all his childhood untainted by the horrors of the war, he was raised by a order of pacifist monks who hold all life precious in equal, to the point of rejecting meat. For the weapons, I have always been partial for spears, dual short swords or dual knives. Something that allows speed and mobility, or in the spear case allows the user to keep enemies at certain distance, although I'm not sure how this would work in a world with quasi-long range attacks like bending. Perhaps imbued them with certain abilities. Like say knife's with water or earth inside so that they could be manipulated to certain extent if throw, or a spear with a tip that allows Harry to super heat it or used with lightning, to break even a strong earth bender defensive wall.
