"So...does anyone want to explain to me how Harry had hurt his wrist?" Jess asked as she and Matt were sat opposite the kids. They were currently at home and the pair had sat the kids down the second they had got home. Harry was sat in-between Clint and Natasha and had an ice pack on his wrist.
"He fell." Clint said.
"Harry, did you fall?" Matt asked, looking at Harry.
"Um...yes." Harry said, unfortunately he was not as good a liar as Clint or Natasha.
"That's very cute, Harry. Now, perhaps you'd like to be honest and tell us what really happened?" Matt said, raising an eyebrow.
"I...um...I punched someone in the face." Harry reluctantly admitted. He was admittedly rather surprised that the school teachers hadn't found out that he had punched Dudley, there had been two reasons for that. The first being that Dudley didn't really want to go around and tell people he got punched to the floor by his scrawny cousin, the second being the fact that Clint had been very 'persuasive' when he had 'calmly and very kindly suggested' that Dudley and his friends not tell anyone. Which is why Dudley had simply told everyone that he had fallen on the floor during a game of football.
"You what?" Jess blinked, to the others it seemed like she was struggling to think of any reason why a perfect angel like Harry would ever want to punch someone.
"It was Harry's cousin." Natasha added.
"The Dursley boy?" Matt asked with a deep frown.
"Dudley." Harry confirmed with a nod.
"We were just minding our own business and were sitting somewhere where we wouldn't be bothered." Clint said. "Then dumb-dumb came over with his friends and started shouting at Harry."
"We think he was going to do something to Harry because he sounded really angry and had all of his friends with him." Natasha added.
"Harry, anything to add?" Jess asked.
"I...I didn't mean to punch him." Harry said in a quiet voice.
"What do you mean?" Jess asked.
"Well, he just kept calling me a freak and shouting and I tried to block it out," Harry began, still speaking in a quiet voice. "but then he called Natasha a freak and I got angry and then he pushed Natasha and then I punched him before I could think about it." He said, looking like he was on the verge of tears.
"Oh, baby," Jess said in a soft voice as she got up and walked over and pulled him into a hug. "oh don't worry, you're still a very good boy. Now, you're not going to be punished for this."
"Is he not?" Matt blinked. "He did punch a boy."
"Yeah, but it was Dudley." Jess, Clint and Natasha said at the same time.

Overall Harry had pretty much been able to dodge being punished beyond a very stern conversation about why he shouldn't punch people, admittedly a lot of that was thanks to Jess, but despite that Harry had been quite worried about potential consequences he could have ended up facing because of his actions. Which was why the next day Harry had immediately woken up before everyone else and settled into what he knew, cooking and cleaning. He hadn't done anything with chemicals or the cooker, remembering Jess's words about potential dangers and the last thing he wanted to do was cause more trouble for Jess and Matt.
He had done the best he could with a dustpan, brush, broom, feather duster and cleaning cloths. After that he has gotten two separate bowls of cereal ready for Natasha and Clint in-between making breakfast for Jess, from what he had observed and been told he knew that those three would wake up before Matt would.
When Jess did come down it was to find Harry standing on a stool so he could reach up and place a cereal box back in one of the upper kitchen drawers. Harry got down and picked the stool up to put it away, only to freeze when he saw Jess looking at him.
"Harry," Jess said, rubbing her eyes as she stopped in front of him. "what are you doing?" She asked.
"I...I made breakfast." Harry said, gesturing to the breakfast on the kitchen counter. "I...I didn't make any for Matt yet because you all said that he likes to wake up late."
"Harry," Jess sighed. "you don't have to make breakfast for everyone."
"I...I know." Harry said in a quiet voice. "But I'm...I didn't mean to punch Dudley yesterday and I know that was bad so I thought it would help if I made breakfast. A...And I've done some cleaning, but I didn't use anything with chemicals in and I didn't use the cooker."
"Harry," Jess said as she knelt down in front of him. "first of all, I don't want you climbing up things when nobody else is around, what if you fall and hurt your head and nobody is around to help you?"
"I did that all the time at the Dursley's." Harry said with a small frown.
"Harry, the Dursley's are idiots." Jess bluntly told him. "That's why they're arrested and that's why their only child is a dumba...a dumb-dumb." Jess said, managing to correct herself at the last moment. "They should have been making you and Dudley BOTH do chores and they should have made them appropriate chores for your age. Now, I understand why you punched Dudley, and even though you shouldn't ever do that again, I want to thank you for trying to protect my little girl."
"Y...you're welcome." Harry mumbled, slightly red-faced.
"Now, we're not mad at you." Jess told him.
"Promise?" Harry asked in a hopeful voice.
"Pinky promise." Jess said, raising her right pinky finger. Harry blinked before he raised his own, Jess wrapped her pinky around his and gave it a little shake before she let go. Harry wasn't entirely sure what that was supposed to mean but he had a good enough guess based off what it was called, though he didn't really know if 'pinky promises' were real promises. "Now, Harry, me and Matt were thinking that maybe you'd like to go to and see a therapist."
"A therapist?" Harry repeated.
"Yes, that's someone who helps people when they're feeling angry or upset or if they have any other problems." Jess began explaining. "You know in films and TV shows when you see a person lying down on a sofa and talking to someone about their problems?" She asked, when Harry nodded she continued speaking. "that person that they talk to is a therapist."
"Oh," Harry said in understanding. "but why do I need to go and see one?" Harry asked with a frown.
"It's not a bad thing, Harry." Jess calmly replied. "I have had a few friends who have gone to see one. The Dursleys are not good people, Harry. They haven't raised you properly, the therapist is just to help you and me and Matt. If you go then he or she can tell you what you might need to work on and will help me and Matt look after you properly. It'll be good for you Harry, I promise." She said, she became quiet and waited patiently for Harry to respond. After roughly twenty to thirty seconds of silence he did finally speak.
"Pinky promise?" He asked, holding up his pinky.
"Pinky promise." Jess said with a smile as she wrapped her own around his.
"Morning." Natasha said as she walked in, acting as if she hadn't been listening in from just outside of the room.

Natasha was currently sitting at the piano, lazily playing on it. Today Harry had been taken to court to discuss his guardianship, it was only a few days ago that he had given a statement about the Dursleys, thought this time he had also mentioned how his Aunt Marge had set her dogs on him, which now lead to people questioning if it was wise to leave Dudley in the hands of a woman who was so cruel that she would allow a dog - her own dog - to attack a child.
But Natasha really didn't care about what happened to Dudley, as far she was concerned he could go to Aunt Marge or go to an orphanage or even to the care of an eighty-year old woman who lives in a corner shop in Cornwall. Natasha's only real concern at the moment was Harry. She had put a lot of work into helping him out, she truly hoped that he would stay so that she could continue to help him. Of course she would do her best to find a way to help him even if he ended up living somewhere far away like on the other side of the country, but it would be much, much more easier for her if he was close by.
"If Harry gets put into another abusive home then I'm going to skin someone." She said under her breath when she stopped playing. "Then I'm going to forcefully reattach their skin and then I am going to skin them again, except it'll be much, much more slower."
She nearly jumped out of her seat when she heard the sound of a door opening, she had quickly realized that it was the front door of the house. Natasha got up and all but ran downstairs to find Harry hugging Jess while Clint was hugging them both.
"Harry is officially living with us." Matt said with a smile as he patted Natasha on the back. Once Jess and Clint had let go of Harry she had rushed forwards, practically launching herself at him, she pulled him into a tight hug which Harry returned.
"I'm glad you're living with us!" Natasha grinned once she let go of him.
"Not as glad as I am." Harry smiled widely, looking happier than ever before. Tears of joy were dripping down his face. "I...I don't even know what to say."
"If I may make a suggestion," Clint spoke up. "how about some celebration pizza?" He said, everyone looked towards Matt. The man let out a rather dramatic sigh before a thoughtful look appeared on his face.
"Celebration pizza." He eventually nodded.

Professor Albus Dumbledore had barely bit back a yawn when he returned to his office in Hogwarts, a large circular room with many windows and many portraits of old headmasters and headmistresses. The portrait of the immediate predecessor of the current headmaster or headmistress hangs behind the head's desk. Seeing as they were magical portraits the portraits were able to move and speak, they of course couldn't leave their frames and enter the real world but they were able to go to other frames and they were around to give advice to the current Headmaster or Headmistress.
The office also played host to a number of spindly tables upon which were set delicate looking silver instruments that whirred and emitted small puffs of smoke, as well as an incredible collection of books, which made up Dumbledore's private library, his pensieve - a delightfully useful device that allowed the user to view his or her memories, something that had been very helpful to him over the years - and Fawkes the phoenix, who was Dumbledore's companion. There was also a glass case where an old looking hat was kept, though that hat was actually a very important magical object that would be used to sort students into their school houses at the beginning of the year.
Dumbledore felt the urge to yawn return once more and this time he did not bother to fight it, he simply sat down at his desk and let it out. He leaned his head back against the back rest of his chair, sometimes it was really, really tiring attending these conferences, he would avoid them if he could but unfortunately for him he was required to attend thanks to his Ministry positions and to be quite honest he would still do his best to attend even if he wasn't required. Why? Quite simply because knowledge was power, knowledge was strength, knowledge was safety and knowledge was important. It was very possible that the day he misses a meeting would be the day that something very important happens, something that could be beneficial for him to know.
"Did you have a good time today, Fawkes?" He asked the phoenix that was currently perched on the special stand that Dumbledore had for him. Fawkes had crimson feathers on his body and a golden tail as long as a peacock's. He was roughly the size of a swan. His long claws along with his beak were gleaming gold and his eyes were black. Fawkes let out a short trill in response. "Very good then." Dumbledore replied with a smile just before green flames rose up from his fire place.
"Albus! Albus! Professor Dumbledore!" A familiar female voice called.
"Mrs Figg?" Dumbledore quickly asked as he got up and rushed over to the fireplace where he could make out Mrs Figg's face in the flames. "What's wrong? Is there a problem with Harry?" He asked, the urgency in her voice had worried him.
"I don't know where Harry is gone!" She replied.
"What?!"
"I've been trying to contact you for the last few days!" She hissed, "If you were going to leave and go somewhere then you should have given me a way to contact you! Where did you even go?!"
"That is not important right now, tell me what you know about Mr Potter." Dumbledore said impatiently. "What has happened to him?" He asked, his mind already coming up with several worst case scenarios.
"Albus, the Dursley's have been arrested for child abuse!"
"What?!" He blurted out in shock.
"Yes!" She said loudly. "I had told you several times in the past about my concerns but you didn't listen! I don't know what's happened but I know for a fact that young Harry was the boy who had been abused. From what I've heard the little walrus has been sent to live with a relative of the big walrus. The two adult idiots have been taken to jail and I know nothing more about them beyond a few rumours."
"And what about Harry?" Dumbledore quickly asked.
"Last I've heard he was taken away by some muggle man, right now the poor boy is probably in an orphanage somewhere."
"I see," Dumbledore frowned deeply. "thank you for telling me this. Is there anything else I should now?" He asked
"Well...no...but I do want to say that I had repeatedly told you..." Mrs Figg didn't get to finish her sentence as Dumbledore cut off the floo connection, he had better things to do than listen to her go and on and on. Dumbledore rushed over to his silver instruments. They all had different uses but a small few of them were centred around Harry and the blood wards.
First Dumbledore checked the instrument that told him about Harry's life status, so far the boy was shown to be alive which was a huge relief for Dumbledore. The next instrument he checked was the one that told him about the blood wards he had set up. So far the blood wards were still active but they had become quite weak, fortunately for Dumbledore there was still time for him to get Harry back. He would have to get the Dursley's out of prison, well...Petunia at least.
But first...he had to find Harry.
