SUPERMAN- MY REACTION
🕑 Added 2024-12-20 09:54:22 +0000 UTCI don't usually do reaction videos, enough of that floating around the Internet. But yesterday I was so pumped for the new Superman trailer ...I had to drop one.
Here are my initial thoughts on what James Gunn has put together.

I got a different opinion in terms of this. So fair warning. I don’t think James Gunn is the guy to be doing Superman. From all the interviews I’ve seen with him talking about the character, calling him a big galoot and saying him not killing is a weakness and many other statements, I don’t feel he understands the character. He even said himself that he didn’t want to do the movie because Superman just wasn’t the character for him. He changed his mind when he said he “found an in” to the character. And looking back at his body of work, his protagonists all have one thing in common. They lack self awareness,and the joke is always on them. That doesn’t work for Superman. I worry about how James Gunn is gonna do this.

Superman is a God that doesn't want to be a God. He s just the Farmer boy Clark kent that wants to make the World a Better Place. I am Hyped for that Movie.
