Loved to see you scrolling around Japan once again! That bear-looking character is actually famous for being an iconic mascot of Kumamoto prefecture.

US neighborhood names are easy. They either name it after something that was there before they bulldozed everything or they name it after two things that were never there. We lived in "Spring Valley" subdivision and there was neither a spring nor a valley. Currently live in "Meadowbrook" where the meadow is now full of houses and the brook was filled in and is a walking path.

even as someone from the US, the hardest part is towns/cities/roads etc etc can repeat within the same state, let alone state-to-state. or if the road goes through multiple towns (I’m sure this happens in other places too?) Easiest way to narrow it down is the license plate or the area code on the phones, but it defeats the purpose of taking a wild guess😂, but the best one was the mountain in the middle of no where😵💫 hahahaha
