OH MY GOD, IT’S APRIL! Last month was by far my busiest to date in this crazy freelance world I live in, but April has a lot coming! Let’s dive right in!
IN THIS NEWSLETTER:
TFF ‘24 WRAP UP
CON UPDATES (Denfur + TFS)
YEARBOOK UPDATES
ZU VS. BU UPDATES
APRIL STICKER
GENERAL UPDATES
It was once again time for me to visit one of my all time favorites last month – TEXAS FURRY FIESTA! Though we learned the horrifying news of Room Service Fried Chicken being taken off the menu, it was an overall amazing con experience!
I managed to luck out with 2 days of selling within the Artist Alley Lottery! This allowed me to Daysuit for the FIRST TIME EVER on Friday?! I don’t know how I will ever thoroughly enjoy Night Suiting again after that, it was hands down the best experience I’d ever had while suiting! Between setting up cubes with Finnegan, scouting students for ZU and BU with Peri, spending countless hours with good friends, having record sales for a 2-day alley set up and more, TFF continues to pull through as one of my favorite cons!
While I have no new updates on Den Acceptances, I am excited to note I have applied to two additional cons for 2024! I have thrown my hat in the ring for Texas Furry Siesta (Dallas, Aug 16-18) and Denfur (Denver, Aug 23-25). I am also waiting for follow-up regarding Furry Migration (Minneapolis, Sep 6-8) and will update here and on Discord when I have answers!
My next upcoming con is FWA 2024 in Atlanta, GA between May 9-12! I will be in the Dealer’s Den Main Hall at Table S11 (next to the GOH, PeriPendrake and Camp Howl!) I will have patron-exclusive pins for those attending FWA and also have a pretty wild assortment of merchandise for the school rivalry! Circle back for updates on Discord and the May Newsletter.
THE YEARBOOK HAS BEEN COMPLETED!!!!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!!! 48 days of work, 44 total pages, and over 400 characters within! I cannot express how exciting this project has been and everyones’ encouragement and desire to be involved. The Yearbook will be available at my FWA Dealer’s Den Table, as well as online for folks not attending. The only question is… can I sign yours?!
The School Rivalry has been live for a month today! We are about to hit 300 students for both schools and I am honestly in SHOCK! 46 states unlocked and dozens of international students around the world, it’s really starting to feel like a college experience! All ZU Student Orientation Packets have been shipped at this time – BU Packets will be going out shortly! You can thank our wonderful Student ID delivery service for the initial BU delay, but we are back on top!
Now that the Yearbook is complete, I am able to fully shift full-brain capacity over to the Rivalry, so expect to see more updates coming soon! Peri and I are hard at work wrapping up a variety of events and plans, so keep those eyes peeped for more coming soon!
It’s the rainy season here in the Pacific Northwest so it feels fitting to showcase the vibes via the April Sticker! I’m excited to see what Lil Kitty cooks up after her stop to the Fish Market! All Sticker Clubs have gone out the door — expect to start seeing them turn up in your mail box this weekend!
And that’s about it, folks! Leading up to April has been some of the busiest weeks I’ve ever tackled and I am SO RELIEVED to be over the giant project deadline hump! I feel very accomplished in my goals (and my boundaries and ability to structure deadlines and hit them alongside Peri!)April will be equal parts busy and relaxing – with my two main deadlines out of the way and finished, I feel a LOT lighter to work on the tasks needed leading up to FWA!
Now…… to do my taxes. How hard can THAT be, right?
See y’all on Discord – stay cozy and kind!

YES! There are 3 blank gold pages in the back, as well as space in the front that has a simple university skyline at the top and lots of space below! There is also a STICKER PAGE toward the back as well!

Is it safe to assume the yearbook will have blank pages for signatures? I'm so excited to get everyone to sign!!
