Yikes

Last thing I promise, it has lots of additional lore and things for the fandom to analyze especially about the whites and certain powers Bran might be able to use aginst them, but at its core is it has consequences for actions. The every thing that made at least myself join the fandom. It would be amazing to hear this series get the notapodcast treatment. Also no one in the fandom has ever done it!!!

Yikes

Additionally the voice acting is great and uses the actors from the show. It follows house Forester and gives insight on what it is like to be at the red wedding outside of the twins and how the economy of the North worked. It also shows what plots and intrigues the norther houses were up to during Boltons rule. It dives into the goings on at the Wall behond the Wall in Kings Landing and in Essos. It's amazing because you run into all your favorite characters playing there Game of thrones, while you are playing yours, maybe not at the center of the action but in close proximity.

Yikes

Telltale, an analysis of the Game of thrones the video game episode 1 (there are 4 episodes) observations likes dislikes and why you would have made the choices you would have made if you actually played it. Below is a link to the game movie. Or if you like download the first game to your smart phone it's free to play. https://youtu.be/7nWHZtW-Mso

Mubarak Modibbo

Since your next Patreon stretch goal is an analysis of “The Forsaken” maybe you guys could do a chapter by chapter analysis of one of the other chapters as the next Patreon episode: Theon I/Mercy/Alayne would love any of of them. Thanks and you guys are awesome

The SmallJon

I have read many great ideas in the previous posts... This Patreon episode is quite promising. As for me, i would like a deep-dive on th Wildlings and their lore, their role in the upcoming conflict with the Others and their future once the Wall falls.

Roy Gayhart

I cannot find February Patreon...Tyrells, right?

OMGBEARS

Another idea: disease in asoiaf — historical parallels, plot device, and what is coming in twow

Dean Brown

The First Blackfyre Rebellion! I’d love to hear you guys go in deep on the causes of the rebellion and the characters and moments involved from the knighting of young Daemon right up to redgrass field. How and why that could also influence events to come in TWOW and ADOS

QUAITHE!

NotAPodcast

Hey Julian! Good catch. We had it linked to it for our small council patrons instead of to our Poor Fellow patrons. Should be fixed now!

broken king

Unbowed, Unbent but Broken: A study of House Martell, the dark future that awaits them in the Winds of Winter and speculation about their endgame by the end of the series.

Crow's Eye

Are any other patrons having trouble getting to the "changes" episode?

Matthew Hurowitz

In light of Chiswyck's recent story of the casual cruelty of the mountain's men, I would love an episode regarding the casual cruelty and war crimes committed by lords and their men compared against certain real-world feudal systems and/or war-time governments. Ideally guest starring someone who studies/speaks-on said history - such as Dan Carlin from Hardcore History, or other actual historians.

Lady Ken of House Motown, Goddess of Sips and Wine

I'd especially like to know the significance (if any) of Rohanne Webber being their g-ma

J Mzyra

One day I would like us all to share our stories of our unspoiled emotional traumas from reading the series, particularly the Red Wedding, but maybe Ned's death and other bits? I know my story of reading the RW like people will say "I remember what I was doing when [important historical event]" and there must be so many others, to share for catharsis

Michael Yaehne

An analysis of the Lannister siblings, perhaps even using a Johari Window (don't worry, Jeff, Emmett will explain what this is).

Erik Reitmeyer

Idea 1: deep dive into the historical influences on the series. Which figures and events from history did GRRM pull from to help craft various ASOIAF characters and events Idea 2: craft your perfect Kingsguard using any figures/fighters from Westerosi history

Kelly Lowe

The two that will get my votes, both of which were already mentioned: - Grand Northern Conspiracy! I would love to hear y’all talk about it. - A mini-series on the Dunk and Egg tales! Perhaps 3 Patreon episodes, each focusing on a different book? That would allow for broader strokes than a chapter-by-chapter analysis, but would still give a deep dive into D&E!

John Nicolson

I would love to hear your take on the Grand Northern Conspiracy

Olympian Comics

My Pitch would be the beginning of the Song an episode discussing how the Song of Ice & Fire really begins in Summerhall. I do love exploring Dunk & Egg but the big mystery of Summerhall is clearly being hinted as the real beginning of the story that is told in the main novels. Not just for Rhaegar's birth but the dawn of something else.

Azor Ahai Five

All things the Isle of Faces: origins, myths about it, characters who’ve visited it and their reasons, and the future of the Isle of Faces!

Threefall

I would love one on the Great Northern Conspiracy - there's so much going on, and so many different plots and sub-plots. It would be great to have it broken down.

Anissa Strickland

I like the deep dive into Braavos idea. Here's another place in the story where the magical world and the political world intersect.

Ser Erik, the Guilty Undertaker

Dorne. The most unique of the Seven Kingdoms, and the least explored in canon.

Lo the lynx

Suggestion: house Manderly! What are they up to? In CLASH? In DANCE? Whose idea were the Frey Pies? I have a lot of questions.

Jon Ryves

As I misunderstood your last vote for a topic (lol), I'd like to rectify my past mistake and suggest you take apart the Grand Northern Conspiracy theory

Stefan Knibbe

Or all about romance in ASOIAF. That would be interesting. Go into various functional and dysfunctional relationships (Ned and Cat, Cersei and Jamie and Brianne, Sam and Gilli). Who knows.

Stefan Knibbe

I wouldn't mind an episode on the first dunk and egg novella. Or maybe a location oriented episode, like king's landing, or one of the eastern locations (like an episode on the free cities). You're episode on volantis was great after all

Micah Clark

Ascended Extras. An episode focused on characters who rose into slightly more prominent roles and ones who grew with the telling. Examples would be Val, Daven, Beric, and so on

Grant Piercy

An additional suggestion would be an episode dedicated to George's inspirations. Comparisons to the works of Michael Moorcock, Frank Herbert, JRR Tolkien, and Tad Williams would be really spectacular.

Sionainn Joseph

Hey guys! This is a great idea and I’m loving all the other patrons’ suggestions! Personally I’ve been itching for an episode on all things Dunk and Egg. There’s so much there that relates to the main cast and they’re also just pretty awesome in their own right. You could talk Dunk/Brienne parallels and Ageon V’s kingship style. What the heck happened at Summerhall? The prequels are also where we learn so much of what we know on Bloodraven, Baelor, and the Blackfyres (though that probably deserves its own episode). So there’s my pitch. Thanks again for letting everyone share their ideas!

Kyle Hahn

The Wolf and the Dragon (working title): foreshadowing for the union of Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen in Winds/Dream. Reasons they will fall for each other, callbacks from previous lovers they will see in each other, what will be their downfall, how close did the show get in the final seasons, etc.

Lisa Trahms

The Iron Bank of Braavos and the Faceless Men.

Grant Piercy

A writer’s roundtable episode. Jeff has obviously written the award winning Cautioner’s Tale and Emmett is working on his own novel. Several other patrons *AHEM* are writers working on their own content. A discussion of methods, genres, working conditions, inspirations, etc would be a fascinating episode. And discussing some things discovered regarding George’s writing (like why limited third person, etc) as part of our own (did I say our, I mean your) process could also be quite worthwhile.

JENNIFER KOSTO

IDEA # 1: Analyzing the different artifacts in ASOIAF and the attributes of each and how/if they will affect the end game - i.e. Euron's Valyrian Steel armor, Horn of Joramun, the supposed Kraken-Summoning horn Lord Celtigar has on Claw Isle, Also, all of the objects made from the Oily Black Stone - how they came about, their significance (if any) - Seastone Chair, Isle of Toads, Asshai, etc. IDEA # 2: Different geographical places. I'd love to hear you guys discuss your thoughts on Yi Ti and the Five Forts and how/if they relate to the Wall, Sothoros and Asshai (everything about these places and the mysteries they hold), what all is hiding in the ruins of Valyria, the City of the Winged Men, The Land of the Shrykes, The Mountains of the Moon. I could keep going all day on topics for discussion, but I think I'll stop here.

Travis Mollohan

Sigil Manifestation: How the Characters Will Reflect Their Family Sigil or Chosen Identity in WINDS and DREAM and the Endgame.

Micah Clark

The Redemption Arcs of ASoIaF, who gets one and who doesn’t; this would primarily focus around Sandor and Jaime but also include characters who may or may not get redeemed. Such as Tyrion for the path he is taking and may take; JonCon in the eyes of the “Son of his silver prince”; and other characters who may need redeeming or try to be.

PJ Moon

An episode where Jeff is FORCE'd to admit how wrong he is about Catelyn Tully 😂😂😜

Samuel Berin

My suggestion: The Missing Wolf: Benjen Stark I'd like to see an episode on one of the most enduring mysteries of ASOIAF: what happened to Benjen Stark? Starting from the beginning from what we know of his childhood and relationships with his siblings, speculation on his doings during Roberts Rebellion (incl. why he joined the Nights Watch), his role as mentor to Jon Snow, charting his journey north of the wall, as well as speculation on how/if he'll reenter the story. All of that, as well as a good debate over the dumbest Benjen identity theories. Cheers, thanks for the update, love the podcast!
