"My Boyfriend is a Superhero" holds a special place in our hearts, and it's been absolutely incredible to see how much you all love it too! Fraser and I are so grateful for your support.
With the release of issue #5, we've reached the end of the first chapter of BYRON and FELIX'S story. A huge thank you to the amazingly talented ALEXANDER, who brought the series to life with his incredible artwork. He's decided to embark on new adventures, and while we're sad to see him go, we completely respect his decision. Five issues and three Halloween specials is an amazing accomplishment!
Now, you might be wondering, what's next for Byron and Felix? Well, as the creator of these two lovable goofballs, I'm definitely not ready to say goodbye! Their "slice of life" adventures have resonated with so many of us, myself included.
Some of you might remember that last January, I started a little side project called "MBIAS: Off the Books"—a series of one-page comic episodes exploring even more moments in Felix and Byron's lives. I wrote and drew these little glimpses into their world, stories that didn't quite fit into the main series.
I initially shared the first "Off the Books" episode on my Patreon, and Fraser and I thought it would be fun to share it with everyone here as well! So, whether you're seeing it for the first time or revisiting it, we hope you enjoy this little bonus adventure.
While the official "My Boyfriend is a Superhero" series has reached a milestone, this isn't the end for Byron and Felix. We have some exciting plans in the works for a new iteration of the title—maybe even with me taking on both writing and drawing duties! 😉 And as we all know in the world of superhero comics, nothing is ever truly finished, and the possibilities are endless! Stay tuned for more updates!
